Great quality, I havent tried it on my skates yet because they’re still being shipped to my house, but it seems like it’ll fit perfectly. The material impressed me, the soakers are super thick, but soft and stretchy, the hard guards are very good too and the small towel good quality as well. It’s perfect and the color is beautiful

This set has everything I needed to take care of my figure skates. The guards fit well, the soakers help protect the blades after skating, and it’s nice having the towel included to dry everything off before storing them. Everything feels well made and has held up great so far. I’m really happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to other skaters. My daughter has a pair as well and we swapped one to be silly twins !

I bought these for my daughter’s figure skates. They were pretty easy to cut down to the proper size, and installing the hardware was very simple. The soakers fit nicely, and the towel is very handy as well.

Perfect inexpensive skate guards if your kid isn't sure they want to continue on with the hobby. These arrived quickly, were as advertised. The only reason they were discarded (through donation) was my child's feet outgrew the skates over a summer and they chose not to continue skating. A must-have to protect the blades while transiting (walking, carrying) so they do not dull or rust. Inexpensive product with minimal expectation - used until child's feet outgrew them

I bought this set for my new skates and they work great! It was a little challenging to cut the hard guards to fit the blades however I found the utility folding knife works best for cutting.

After picking up ice skating as a hobby this year, I quickly realized that taking care of my vintage skates was extremely important to maintaining them as long as possible, so after looking at options, I snagged this gift set for myself. The soakers are extremely no-frills, and the towel is as well, but both have done a great job of drying off my skates after ice time. The color options are great and they look even better in person! I would definitely make sure you measure your skates and reference the size chart to ensure you get the right size soakers, but if you do, they will be a great fit. The pro shop at my rink was able to cut the hard guards to size for me, so I didn't have to worry about doing it myself, and all the items in this set are extremely straightforward to use. I can't speak to their durability, as I haven't had them long, but I have confidence that these items will stand the test of time.

If your skates are shorter than 12.5” and you can find/afford guards that fit that by default, definitely get those instead of these. I knew I may have to cut them since my skates are a size 3.5, but it was much more difficult than expected. I ended up using a steak knife since I don’t have a saw (the video shows a serrated bread knife), and I attached a photo to show how inconsistent it can look at the point where the guards meet. The product itself is good, except for the color. The guards themselves match pretty well to the Ruby I ordered, but the towel and the soakers are disappointingly muted. Much more like a burgundy, even in direct lighting.

Really good kit for your figure skates. Comes with a towel to wipe skates dry after practice, plus a soft plush skate soaker for storage and also of course the hard guards. The one I bought was a sparkling pink one that my daughter LOVES and it just adds that tiny little detail any child will adore. The guards need to be cut to your child's skate length. There is a useful youtube video made by crs that shows you how to measure and cut. Honestly it's common sense. When you cut them a small tip is to use a mitre saw if you have one. This makes for super clean cuts. The plastics sorta " melt " when you use a high speed saw so it makes it look prettily OEM cuts. Another tip I can offer is, if you're putting them on youth skates you will absolutely 100% find that the guards bend up too much and prevents the skate from properly sitting on the guards flat. I actually had to also cut a decent chunk off the tips of the front and back bends to make the guard sit properly to the blade and fit snug. If you don't do this your youth skates will not seat up and line up flush to the guards . After custom cutting the guards they fit snug and they do not fall off when walking. Perfect For the record the skates in the picture are youth size 1B. And those needed custom cutting on the front and back tips alongside length. These are outstanding. --- update... after a couple years, the product held up well. i cut too much for fitting her previous skates so i needed a new set for her next size up. excellent guards -- highly recommend.
