Carpet Shampoo 500ml • Deep Cleaning for High Traffic Areas

This type of product appears difficult to find! In town shops are stocked with 'refresher/ freshening' powders (like Shake n vac) or shampoo liquid for carpet shampooing machines. What do people like me do having only a few rugs and no large areas of carpet? Thankfully this retro product was found, and it works as well as when my mum used it. Hoover the rug thoroughly. 6 parts water to one part shampoo liquid in a mixing bowl periodically whipping up the foam topping. Using a sponge or clean cloth scoop off the foam and apply. Don't soak it. It dried fast in this current weather. Then hoover again to bring up the pile. Did both 6 foot by 4 foot rugs with one mixture. So economic with almost a full bottle left for future use. Very happy to have found this product.

Small bottle and need to put too much to see any effects. I used normal detergent and vinger in small concentration and it was more effective.

Have used the older of this product for some, as I had run out, bought some more to deal with a coffee stain on our carpet. I mixed one part 1001 to six parts warm water and mixed until a foam. Applied this to a dried coffee stain and after a few tries it totally remove the stain. Highly recommended, persevere on difficult stains, it will remove them.

Just what I was looking for as I need to clean the coconut matting by the front door. So used this and with a good scrub it came up very well. Easy to use and good value. I don't have a fancy machine, so it was just a bowl of water and elbow grease but it did the job.
