Highly recommend for young children. My 3 year old grandson (now 4) was having issues with separating and he has really taken to this book. The story is about an animal having anxiety about starting school but can be used to deal with separating in general not just for parents but grandparents as well. There are cute little heart stickers in the back of the book also which he enjoys.

Wonderful book. I read it to the congregation where I was preaching. It’s a good book for any age. I recommend it.

My grandchildren absolutely love this book and it came with little stickers in the back that says kissing hand they was able to read this and smile because it reminded them of their mother that we lost Feb 2025 it was perfect the only complaint they had was the delivery was a day late lol

I buy this book on the regular. When my first adult child started Kindergarten (25 years ago) the teacher read this book on the first day with the parents in attendance. I have loved this book and have bought it several times for my other children as well as for family and friends. It is the perfect book for Littles starting school.

I have bought about 8 books about pre K preparation, kindergarten, transitions and change and this one is by FAR the best book I’ve read. It is so sweet and the concept is so simple. As soon as we read it my son asked that we kiss each other’s hand and put it to our cheeks. I know he will use this whenever he’s missing me. So cute!

This is the perfect book to read to a young child who is going off to school for the first time but may feel anxious. When I worked in elementary classrooms, this was one of my favorite books.

Nous l'utilisons en parallèle avec l'ecole pour travailler sur la separation du matin en petite section. La petite reconnais le livre de l'ecole et aime bien ecouter l'histoire.
