Weight: 4 pounds Review: Only had a 174 VAC output rather than the 220 as stated. - Arrived quickly however the output voltage was only 174 VAC rather than the 220 is supposed to be. Lucky I checked the voltage before plugging in anything. I though maybe the voltage regulator was not sensing a load but I disproved that when I connected two 40 watt, 110 volt light bulbs wired in series to provide a 80 watt 220 volt load.The output still remained low at 164 vVAc and the inverter started chirping. The DC voltage input was good at 13.5. I did not bother to put my frequency meter on it to see if it put out 50 Hz. Also had this voltage booster/inverter a slight smell of a burned semiconductor. I turned it off quickly as the User Guide that comes with it states the chirping indicates a problem with the device. I had this hoped product would have worked properly, quite disappointed. :( Review: Not in love, but we have limited options for producing 50Hz ... - It does work, but it tends to smoke and stink some whenever you use it. I am largely not using it as a result of this issue. If you get near the rated power of 400W, it shuts down. 300W is safe I would say. It also doesn't produce a sine wave output (it produces a three step signal). Not in love, but we have limited options for producing 50Hz power cheaply.
