The Planetary Airscape: The Perfect Companion for Espresso Enthusiasts
Look wise, this canister is a true winner. With the wide array of color choices available, it's easy to find an option that seamlessly complements the dรฉcor of your kitchen. I personally opted for the sleek matte black finish, and it blends in beautifully with my other stainless steel appliances. But beyond just the visual appeal, the Airscape's design allows you to express your personal style and flair. However, the true value of this canister lies in its practicality. The airtight, vacuum-sealing lid effectively locks out oxygen, ensuring that my coffee beans stay fresh for as long as possible. I've been using this canister daily for over a year, and the beans I store in it always maintain their robust flavor and aroma, even towards the end of the bag. The functionality of the Airscape is also top-notch. The lid operates smoothly, and the accompanying scoop (purchased separately) makes it easy to portion out just the right amount of beans for each use. These small details truly elevate the overall user experience and make this canister a joy to incorporate into my espresso routine. Perhaps most impressive, however, is the Airscape's durability. Despite my consistent daily use over the past year, I have not encountered any issues with wear or degradation. The canister remains in pristine condition, further affirming that this was a worthwhile $35 investment for my espresso station. Do yourself a favor and add the Airscape to your cart.

Excellent Coffee Canister for Keeping Beans Fresh
The AirScape Planetary Design stainless steel coffee canister works extremely well for keeping coffee fresh longer. The airtight inner lid pushes excess air out of the container, which really helps preserve the flavor and aroma of the beans compared to regular storage containers. The stainless steel design looks sleek and modern on the kitchen counter, and the build quality feels very durable and premium. I also like how easy it is to use โ the lid seals securely while still opening smoothly when needed. Itโs great for both whole beans and ground coffee. Overall, this canister combines functionality, quality, and style perfectly. A great investment for coffee lovers who want fresher coffee and better storage.

Absolutely the Best Coffee Storage Iโve Ever Used
Iโve purchased this Airscape canister twice now, and thereโs a reason I keep coming backโit actually works exactly as advertised. The build quality is outstanding: the stainless steel feels solid, the matte black finish looks sleek on the counter, and itโs easy to keep clean. The real star of the show is the inner plunger lid. Unlike regular โairtightโ containers that trap air inside with your coffee, this one physically pushes the air out every time you press it down. You can literally hear the air being forced out. Because of that, my beans stay noticeably fresher for much longer. The aroma, the oils, and the flavor all last significantly beyond what I get using normal airtight jars or bags. I use it mainly for whole beans, and the medium size is perfectโit holds plenty without taking up too much space. The outer lid snaps on smoothly, the inner lid glides easily, and nothing feels cheap or flimsy. If youโre serious about keeping your coffee fresh or you just want a container that looks great and performs even better, this is worth every penny. After using it for months, I can confidently say itโs one of the best coffee-related purchases Iโve made. Highly recommended.

Iโd recommend it
Works great. Good quality. Airtight. Super easy to use and keeps my coffee beans fresh. Holds a decent(not a ton) amount of beans, but I bought a second one and theyโre easy to stack up on top of one another. Doesnโt take up too much space. Thumbs up.

Functional, Easy to Use, Perfect for Protecting Premium Coffee Beans from Air and Light
I am DELIGHTED with this purchase. I grind whole bean Lavazza coffee for my espresso machine and it's only available in giant 2.2 lb bags. The bags are only airtight to preserve freshness until I open them the first time, and after that there is no way to recreate that vacuum seal so that the latte made from the last beans out of the bag taste as good as the first latte after opening a new bag. It's not just noticeable flavor differences, but as the beans in an already opened bag of coffee gradually change from oxidation it throws off the shot times and I would have to continually tweak grind settings to compensate for that as I worked my way through the bag of beans, and then make a drastic readjustment to grind setting when opening a new bag. After reading many, many reviews of this and similar products, I ordered two of the Medium AirScape containers rather than one of the larger ones, so that I can work my way through one pound of beans (opening and resealing the container every day to make coffee) while the other half of the bag remains airtight sealed. The Medium containers are also a more versatile size for countertop or cabinet storage than one larger container would be. As far as function, I love the simplicity of this container design and how the inner lid pushes down to be flush with the top of the beans regardless of how many are left in the can. You can hear the air WHOOSH out through the valves or whatever they are, and then the handle folds down to lock in place and keep your coffee beans separate from the empty space (containing air/oxygen) above them in the container. Since light adversely affects coffee freshness, obviously one of the solid color containers is the way to go if coffee is what you're storing. I did read in the handful of negative reviews where people said the suction is too strong and they had difficulty removing the inner vacuum seal lid. Honestly, I think that will only be an issue for people who have specific health problems affecting their hands. The average person with normal hand strength and dexterity is going to be fine -- even a child would have no problem getting both lids off. If you're used to storing your coffee in a typical canister with only one lid, it may feel inconvenient at first to have the additional step of removing the inner vacuum seal lid after taking off the top lid, before you can get at your coffee, but if you are obsessed about your coffee and fanatical about preserving the freshness of high quality beans, especially beans like Lavazza that are not readily available in smaller bags, this coffee storage system can be a valued addition to your coffee station.

the best coffee bean or tea storage container money can buy, but too expensive
awesome design for keeping coffee beans fresh, or really any item where freshness is paramount, but they are WAY too expensive. i also really don't like how minor the price difference is between the tiny model and the giant one. you are incentivized to oversize, which i suppose environmentally is a good thing, but also sometimes you simply don't need that much storage or don't have the counter space. but yea, there's basically no competitor that offers a product that physically evacuates all the air, then creates an airtight seal, while also being constructed of metal and not gross plastic. the lid here is plastic, but whatever, it doesn't touch the food so i'm fine with it, but updating that to metal in a future iteration would be nice as well just to really lessen unnecessary use of plastic. and as expected, the performance of this thing is great. it's really the best option for things like coffee beans, which go rancid very easily when exposed to oxygen. i've had beans in one of these for like half a year and they taste as fresh as when i got them roasted-to-order.

High-End Solid Stainless Steel Canister - Easily Fits the Standard Starbucks Bag of Ground Coffee๐
This canister has a real nice high-end solid feel to it. We got the black version and the finish is gorgeous, so much so we just leave it out on our counter all day. It has a large rubber seal on the bottom so it doesn't mark up your counters or move / slip around. Long story short decided to bite the bullet on this - even though it was kind of pricey - as we just tend to purchase the pre-ground up coffee in the bags (yeah probably should get a grinder some day) as it just speeds up things in the morning. We had been trying to fully squeeze the air out of the retail bag (typically starbucks) so the remaining coffee in the bag is mostly airtight and then we store it in the freezer - none of that seems to work very well - usually about half way through the bag the coffee would change to a bitter flavor and we'd end up throwing away 1/3 - 1/2 of the bag. ๐ Haha after studying up - looks like the freezer way is not an ideal way - and there are probably other ways to store coffee better - but just letting you know about our process ๐คท Held off on writing the review until we could verify that this airtight canister made a difference and it really has. The seal part has been easy to use (even easy enough for our teenagers to consistently do) and we've fully used a full bag of coffee without it going bitter...woo hoo! โ Basically this canister has done exactly what we needed / wanted and am quite happy about it. Plus it looks so nice that we just leave it on the counter saving a trip to the freezer...one less thing to do in the morning and I still get my coffee - well you have sold me on that! ๐ Haha it may take several full bags of coffee before we make up for the price - but this is just easier to use - it looks nice - and we bought the spoon that fits perfectly inside on top of the seal so no longer trying to find a clean spoon / scoop (another small headache solved)...so this really just works for us. Did NOT get paid or receive anything free for this review. Really just like the product and think it was well worth the few (several) bucks we threw at it, especially when combined with the compact scoop (have reviewed it too) ๐

Keeps the contents fully fresh and is easy to use!
Fully recommend. We bought one of these a few months ago to try, and it has been so good and easy to use that we just recently purchased two more. Yes, these are very expensive, however, we have not found any other one as high quality as these, and has worked as perfectly as these. We use these for coffee beans, but I expect they would work just as well with grains or other similar foods. These have worked great to keep the contents fresh and that is most important. These have kept the coffee fully fresh for many months; fresh as new, big difference from storing in the original coffee bags. These are also very easy to use; no issue removing the lid and you can definitely hear the "swoosh" sound as described, removes the air and keeps it out. Another benefit is that these make it very easy to scoop out the coffee, even when it it nearly empty.
