I am very happy with this as a replacement pen to the Remarkable 2 with eraser. I love the triangular shape probably most of all- it does not roll off of my desk or random tables that I sit at in labs at work (most of my dropping pens is due to them rolling off tables). The writing is very smooth- smoother than the Remarkable or King Write. It's like the difference between a pencil (the remarkable & king write feeling) and felt tip marker (this pen's feeling). I am happy with it. I love that the eraser has a bit more give than the other pens, so I am not worried about it scratching my Remarkable. It is a bit shorter than the other pens, which is a little bit strange at times, but it is long enough that it is fine. I do sometimes miss the magnet, but mostly the magnet for the other pens was not very effective, such that it would result in the pen falling onto the ground or into my backpack... So I like that I don't accidentally lose/drop the pen because of the magnet now - I just handle it a bit differently and put the pen in a different pocket in my backpack (like I would do with a paper notebook) rather than try to attach it to the remarkable. My previous remarkable 1 case had a spot to attach a pen which I loved and may try again in the future, but that's not worth the $50 for a new case to me. I have had this for ~2 weeks now with great results. I will update on durability if/when I have issues. Background I have a tendency to drop things. After being dropped too many times, the writing end of my original remarkable 2 pen (with eraser) broke so that it would not hold the tips in place anymore (1-2 yrs of use). I replaced it with a KingWrite pen, which was nice at first. It did not last nearly as long as the Remarkable 2 pen and broke in half after being dropped within a month or so. I was able to glue it back together, and then finally ended up using electrical tape to keep it together. (The writing half would work without the eraser half if I did not glue it back together, but it would be quite short...) It worked for a month or few more before I dropped it again and needed to replace the tip. I was traveling and had accidentally left the tips at home. So it was $25 for new tips for a broken pen, or $50-60 for a new different pen...

This is indeed better than the original prime pen. And it feels perfect to me. It's called Jumbo but it's the right size. The classic style looks more like a real pencil but I like this "half-used" pencil length more. It's short enough to put in my Galaxy Z Fold 4 case but unfortunately it doesn't work on Fold 4. It works with my S22 Ultra though. Really nice stylus. I bought it mainly to use with my Kindle Scribe because it's recommended everywhere. The point is thinner than the Prime pen coming with the Scribe bundle. It writes smoothly and with the right amount of friction. The eraser is the highlight here. It's 1000 times better than the Prime pen. It feels like a real eraser. Soft that I don't worry about it hurting the screen. The Noris digital jumbo doesn't have a side button which can be configured to apply highlights. But after 10 days using the Prime pen with the highlighter button, I perferred the Staedtler way. You don't switch between pen and highlighter often so there's no need for a shortcut. The button is only in the way to be clicked unintentionally. So with the Prime pen, I'm used to turning it to a position that I won't touch the side button by mistake. With Staedtler, one less thing to worry about. Aesthetically, the Staedtler style is really good, though I much prefer the classic look. The jumbo's eraser looks unreal, yet it's functioning so you'd better to have it. Now I use my Scribe like real paper.

I purchased this product specifically for use with my rM2 digital paper tablet. According to other reviewers, it's compatible and I can attest to this now as well. The official rM pens are just so incredibly expensive, and to be completely honest, you'll never be able to tell the difference with this pen. It's thicker, easy and comfortable to hold (it's "grippy" as the pen has a slightly "rubberized" texture but not overly so) due to the texture of the material and also because of its shape - it has the traditional Staedtler triangle shape I've come to know and love with its traditional ink pens. And it comes with an eraser?!? There is NO reason to choose the rM pen over this - you'd have to upgrade to the eraser version and pay even more. As for the writing experience, since I cannot compare to the official rM pens, all I can say is that I'll never miss what I never had. For me, this pen performs exactly as intended - the latency is great, writes smooth and is incredibly responsive to all writing tool options included on the rM2 tablet, including angle/pressure tests. To me, this product is a no-brainer and one of the best purchases I've ever made. No, I'm really not kidding. If you're on the fence, and looking for a quality alternative to the rM pens, look no further. You absolutely will not regret it and will be saving your wallet some pain.

The Staedtler Noris Digital Jumbo is a solid stylus with a few quirks. The good: I really like the classic pencil look, and the bright color makes it easy to find. The eraser is probably the best in the business, honestly. It feels natural and works exactly how you’d want it to. The downsides: it’s too short for my taste, way too light, and the writing feel is oddly smooth. It has a strange drag on the tablet surface that doesn’t feel as pencil-like as the OEM stylus. Also, the lack of magnetic attachment is a bummer. That said, it’s priced fairly, looks good, and is a decent stylus for the money. Not perfect, but not bad either.

I purchased this stylus for my reMarkable 2 and it works great. It is lighter than the stylus that comes with it. I like the bigger eraser end, it is smooth and doesn't make me feel like I am going scratch my tablet. It worked right out of the packaging and is my favorite tool. The tips last a long time.

I've been using this stylus daily with my BOOX Note Air5 C and it has genuinely impressed me. As someone studying for the CPA exam, I rely heavily on handwriting my notes for retention, so a stylus that feels natural and responsive isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. The writing experience is smooth and accurate, with the 4,096 pressure levels making a noticeable difference in how natural the strokes feel compared to styluses I've used before. What surprised me most is how comfortable extended writing sessions have become, my hand fatigues significantly less than it used to, which matters when you're writing for hours at a time. The no-charging feature is a genuine quality of life improvement. It's one less thing to think about, and the palm rejection works reliably so I never have to worry about accidental marks while resting my hand on the screen. One thing worth noting, out of the box setup was straightforward with no learning curve, which I appreciated. Solid build, great feel, and yes, it looks really cool too. Highly recommended, especially for students, professionals, or anyone doing heavy daily writing on an E-ink device.

I bought this pen in February, it's now September when I'm writing this. In that time, both the eraser and the nib have detached and fallen off of my pen. Thankfully they only fell into my bag, so I was able to find them and reattach them with gorilla glue. For the price of this pen, I expected a sturdier build. I don't have children so there's no rough use and I only really use mine for jotting down ideas, taking notes, and filling out my calendar, so I can't imagine that level of use shook its parts off. Now, all of that said - the pen functions great. It feels good to write with, the eraser works as intended (with a kindle scribe) and it doesn't hurt the hand after longer writing sessions. That's why I opted to repair it rather than toss it out and look for a new pen. I really do like it. So it's really a great product with (at least in the item I received) poor construction.

This is a very ugly, but best stylus I own for the Boox Note Air2, so far. Let me compare them for you. If you look at the attached image, going from top to bottom: The Boox Note Air2 stylus that came with the reader/tablet comes with a nib protector that looks like a rubbery pen cap. It is well weighted and has a fairly good magnet that allows it to ride long with the tablet. Nobuttons and no eraser. The magnet works the best of all of them. The downside is the shape of the Boox edge: it is round so lots of magnet stylus pens have trouble hanging on. The nib is a little large and soft. It is ok, but difficult to write in a very narrow and thin pattern. Next is the iReader stylus from Japan. This is would be my favorite pen but I wish it was a tiny bit heavier. It is solidly built and comfortable to hold. It has the best soft end eraser experience. You can erase with a good angle to the stylus and it still works. Not true for all stylus with erasers. And it has a curved edge that helps the magnet edge hold better to the Boox. The nib is somewhere between the thickness of the standard stylus and one of the very thin tipped nibs. It might well be the best, but the pen is still very thin and fairly lite. Next is the Samsung Tab6 lite (specifically the lite model works well with the Boox) and while it has a magnet, it doesn't hang onto the tablet too well. I want to love the stylus and for the price it is pretty good, but I know I am going to accidentally drop it somewhere. It comes with a button that can be set as an eraser, which is nice. It has a very thin nib for precise writing or drawing. One of the thinnest nibs. Finally, the Staedtler. It is weighted fairly well and maybe the shortest. it has a really nice eraser end experience and the nib tip is darned near perfect. Perfect writing feel and nib size and hardness. It arrived with extra nibs and a tool for replacing them. The three edge triangular body makes this stylus, by a long shot, the most comfortable to hold. The plastic shell feels solid (the original was wood I believe and that made it feel neat, but more breakable) and dependable. The downside is: no magnet. BUT it feels and writes the best. Two things I hope they update in the next version: Slightly longer. It isn't a big deal that it is the shortest, but I think slightly longer would be an improvement. Also, not a huge fan of the yellow sides, which is nearly like a trademark to the product. Maybe just a tiny part near the tip could retain that signature look while the rest could be black? On the upside, there is no way I am losing this stylus, based on the stand-out colors. It just makes me feel like a construction worker about to mark the cut length of a 2x4. But other than the length and the color, every functional piece of this Stylus beats out other styluses like the iReader which is priced near 3x higher. I do still love the iReader as my #2 (it took 2+ weeks to get it from Japan) but this is my #1 (got it overnight from Amazon!)

Feels great to use and since I already had the Norris Digital, the Mars Jumbo was a step up in size and functionality with the built in eraser. If you can get it on sale, it’s even better.

I bought this as a replacement for the default styls that is shipped with the reMarkable. The Staedtler 180J Noris stylus is superb. The eraser works perfectly but I wouldn't describe it as being a "soft eraser".
