NO SERVICE!
We needed local SIMs for service in Australia. My wife activated her Lebara SIM before going, I tried to activate my Lebara SIM after arriving. In neither case could we get service. I ultimately had to buy a SIM from another vendor at the airport--YES OPTUS. The later worked handily.
