Beautiful and amazing scent!
Love this candle! It smells amazing, is in a beautiful glass canister and I love how the wood wick burns; I will definitely be buying the other scent I was considering.

The smell is fairly mild but the flame and container are very cute. And the candle came fully packaged and gift wrapped.

Best candle on amazon
This candle smells amazing. The glass is so beautiful. It burns perfectly and evenly and for a long time. I also had an issue with the candle that was in no way the fault of the company that they helped me remedy immediately. I will 100 percent be a long time customer and I can't imagine there being any better candles for sale here on Amazon or in any store. If your reading this I strongly recommend you stop your search and buy this candle.

Best Candle Ever!
Best candle ever… if I had to have one candle for the rest of my life, I think it would be this one. For starters, the scent is potent like a luxury candle, you can smell it through the styrofoam wrapping! The packaging is beautiful. It comes in gift packaging, and the textured glass is stunning. Finally, it really is worth a few extra bucks on this candle because it burns FOREVER, plus it has a beautiful wood wick. I used to love the Voluspa Yashioka Gardenia candle, but this is better, bigger, and cheaper. Would highly recommend! (See pic for size comparison)

What a Disappointment - EDIT 01/22/24
When you buy a more luxuriously priced candle, it comes with expectations—the bare minimum having a pleasant and strong scent. This has zero scent. I’ll have 90+ hours of a burning candle with no benefit besides the flame. The wood wick doesn’t even crackle. I purchased a few Aldi candles and I’m shocked to say they were 10x better than the gardenia candle. If this candle had a scent of 2/10, Aldi had a scent of 7/10 and it cost $5 vs $28. EDIT (01/22/24): The team at La Jolie reached out to say they were disappointed to hear the candle wasn’t meeting my expectations and offered to replace it with a new one. I choose Rose, and it was WONDERFUL! The rose smell was way stronger than gardenia and the scent filled the room without being over powerful. The crackle was louder as well. Maybe it’s a difference between the oils used to create the smell of one versus the other, but this one definitely delivered. 5 stars for the company, 5 stars for the rose candle, 2 stars for the gardenia - a healthy 4-5 stars overall.

Wick stopped working. Buy Voluspa instead.
I'm so incredibly disappointed in this candle. I had been using it under my candle lamp until yesterday. The smell is underwhelming but whatever. Yesterday I lit it and it had a flame and stayed lit for a couple hours... it was fine. Today I went to light it and it wouldn't stay lit. I figured it needed wax poured out so I poured out a LOT of wax after melting some of it under the heated lamp....even with wax poured out it's got an extremely weak flame.. Seems the wick is no good and if I have to dump wax each time I want to get even a weak flame, this candle is never going to last as long as they claim it does. This incredibly disappointing for a 36.00 candle. I'll stick with Voluspa, they burn fine AND smell WAY more fragrant.
