How can this be motorized? What are the specs of the shaft with the handle to attach a motor/worm screw?

Probably the shaft is about 1/4 inch 20tpi with a lock nut behind the nob. It would require enlargement of the baseplate to counter balance the additional weight.

Does the 6 x 6 lab Jack have a height of 4 to 8 inches high?

I have a 4x4 and it goes to almost 8 inches high and less than 4. If that any help.
