SiftEase Cat Litter Sifter with Bin, Fast Scoop-Free Litter Box Cleaning

Talk about a game changer. 4 XL litter boxes done in under 5 minutes. No more endless bending, scooping, scraping, or back pain. Wasted litter is a thing of the past. My basement no longer smells, and the litter is lasting longer. I like that you're emptying the box, so if you need to rinse it out, you can without tossing all that litter. The trick is to pour from a corner of the box; I pre-scrape so the pee balls (iykyk) don't stick. It's very stable and holds a lot of litter. The side handles make pouring it back in easy. No spills, no tip-overs; its design is overall perfect. Honestly, if you have cats, this is a must. ****Whoever designed this product deserves a raise, a parking spot, an award, and employee of the year.

I freaking LOVE this thing. Makes my life so much easier and I never forget to do the litter box now as it is such an easy, almost mindless task. Less scooping, less time near the litter box and more time playing with your cat! It is huge so you can really sift a good amount of litter through it (I have an XL litter box so there’s usually a good amount of litter in there!) and it gets it much cleaner than any scooping ever does. If you have multiple cats, this is truly a must to cut down on your cleaning time and increase the longevity of your litter!

This thing makes cleaning the litter boxes so much faster and easier! It feels nice and sturdy, and it's bigger than I thought it would be, which is great. It only takes a few seconds to assemble (just clips right together) out of the box. We were planning on spending a bunch of money on a litter robot, but this seemed nearly as good for a lot less money. It did seem a little pricey for what it is, but it's actually well built and feels like it'll last a really long time. Really great product overall, very happy with my purchase.

When I opened this, my first impression was that I paid way too much money for what I got. However, as I assembled it, I realized the materials to make it are high quality. The price is justified. I own a cattery and breed a rare breed of cat: Turkish Angoras. As you might imagine, I have a lot of litter boxes. I don't like scooping, so I was looking for alternatives that would make the job easier. I actually purchased a $450 automatic litter box for my cat room, which has made the chore of emptying the litter boxes much easier for me in that room. It also helps with one of my cats who is a primadonna and won't use a litter box that's dirty. He would prefer to go outside the litter box, which, as you might imagine, created quite a few messes and scrubbing for me. The automatic litter box fixed my problem with him. But for the other four litter boxes that I was responsible for scooping, I wanted something that would make the cleanup easier. Sometimes, the scooping really isn't that bad. It only takes a moment. But when I'm raising kittens, the litter box can get full quickly and it needs a lot more attention. I don't like digging around in it, so this product was an amazing choice for me. I used it today for the first time, and it really did make the chore much easier. It was also a lot more thorough. I put the loose litter into the sifter, and then I use the scooper to get rid of anything that's clumped to the bottom of the litter box and throw that directly into a trash bag. This actually made the litter a lot cleaner after I'm done. I believe it'll make the litter last a lot longer. I'm happy with my purchase, and I can see myself using it for a long time to come.

I have 3 cats and 3 litter boxes. They will ONLY use the scoopable clay litter that sticks together when wet. Scooping the litter by hand always takes me 30+ minutes and really hurts my back bending over for an extended period of time. Or on days I got really fed up, I would dump the entire contents of the litter box into the trash, making the trash bag really heavy and wasting a lot of still-good litter in the process. One time the bag got so heavy it broke! I know they have those other cat boxes with the grates, but they never work out the way you want them to. I would watch ads on YT and TikTok wishing I had the money to buy one of those robo-litter boxes. But my gosh they are so expensive, and who knows if my cat would even use it with those weird shapes. Thanks to SiftEase it only takes me 5 minutes to clean all 3 cat boxes!!! The product is high quality, affordable, and 100% worth it. All you need is one to change your life. It comes with an instruction manual that shows you how to dump the box without making a mess, and it’s really easy. It has a small learning curve to it but if you give it a week and follow the instructions I promise you will love SiftEase as much as I do. I like how you can dump the box into the container fast and away from your face versus hand-scooping cause your face is really close to the box when you hand scoop. The smell is unpleasant to have your face close to it for that long. I don’t have to spend 30 minutes digging around blindly for poops and pee clumps anymore. The only downside I can think of is how they market their product to “never scoop again.” This is incorrect, you will still need one hand scooper to get the really heavily urinated litter clumps off the side of the box as they stick to the sides. This is by no means a deal breaker! Even if I have to scrape off the edges, I’m still saving a LOT of time and my back doesn’t hurt. I’m going to purchase another one later as a thoughtful gift for my other multi cat owning friend. They also gave me a free bag of cat toys with my purchase which I wasn’t expecting. My cats are enjoying the toys. I can tell the makers definitely love their felines to make such an impactful and quality product. I’m so happy I purchased this! May 2024 Update: I still stand by my old review. The product has shown no signs of wear or tear, and continues to assist me at litter box cleaning time. It is lightweight but holds up strong even when dumping a weeks worth of litter into it. Sometimes if the poops are too fresh the smaller pieces might get stuck in the soft holes, but that’s why I keep a hand scoop so I can get it out. But it usually falls out on its own when I dump the top part into the trash bag. I have 3 giant size litter boxes scattered around the house and SiftEase handles all of it every week. Pro Tip: Make sure when you are dumping the top part out to have a bag secured underneath to catch any tiny loosened litter remnants. Like I said, it has a small learning curve but once you get it, it’s soooo easy to use. My method: I have a thick-walled cardboard box I recycled from my old litter. The height is just a little lower than the SiftEase itself, and I line it on the inside with an 8 gallon trash bag. After dumping the dirty cat box into the SiftEase, I set the lined cardboard box right beside the SiftEase, longest wall to longest wall. Then I gently begin lifting the scoop part on one side and turning it over at an angle towards the empty box with bag, and all the poops and pee clumps slides down into the bag. I never lift the scoop part completely out of the SiftEase because I’m trying to prevent litter remnants from getting on the floor. After repeating this process with all three of my cat boxes, I gently tie off the trash bag at the top, slowly lift it out of the cardboard box, and dispose of it in the outside trash bin. I have got good at this with practice over the months to the point I never drop a spec of litter on the floor anymore. I will say since my last review, I upgraded the litter I use to a more expensive brand. I am spending even less time scooping the urine clumps off the side of the litter box since then. With the cheaper brands of litter, you really have to scrape it off the walls to get it off the cat box. Even cat boxes that claim to be “non-stick.” But with the new litter I’m using, they just get knocked down when I lightly slam the litter box on the floor. Hope this info helps anyone else who also had that problem. Yay SiftEase!

Do you hate cleaning the litter box? Takes too long? Scoop, shake, dump, repeat.. No more. Dump the entire litter box in this, tap bottom if anything is still stuck or drop on floor. You can empty the waste into bin or put bag over the top and remove top with the bag to empty, then dump the clean litter back in the box. It is so easy and takes literally 10-20 sec total. Can do multiple litter boxes too, just take top off and place in the next box while emptying clean litter. I will never not have this again. I don’t even mind doing the litter boxes anymore at all. Product seems very durable and somehow nothing sticks to the inside of it so doesn’t need cleaned very often. Can’t recommend enough

So this would have been great if used for a regular size pellet litter box, but I have xl boxes. It wasn't big enough to be able to dump the litter box into the sifter. If you have a small pellet box this is for you, but for the price, you can make something similar with a bag.

Purchased to use while taking care of neighbors multiple cats for a month. Used a medium sized, rectangular plastic trash can instead of the included box-bag to hold the sifter. Worked perfectly well, as would a large tall kitchen trash can. (Wanted to keep the included box-bag pristine for possible future cats in my household. The sturdy, rigid filter section is super easy to clean and sanitize) Instead of up to a half hour to scoop all of the boxes, I was able to clean them thoroughly in under 10 minutes (not rushing, petting cats in between). Even the most thorough of scooping jobs doesn’t get the litter as clean as using the SiftEase. In my past cat owning experience; it also works FAR better than 2 different brands of sifting litter boxes. Currently own a Boxscoop 2.0 that was purchased when we were planning on getting a cat. (Not yet used.) It’s a one, big scoop product. Will keep it, and plan to get a large stainless pan to use as a second box whenever we do get a cat. Obviously, will use the SiftEase with the steel pan, and possibly as a secondary sift for the Boxscoop 2.0 for a quick weekly full clean. Unfortunately, all brands of automatic sifters are STILL problematic. Expensive, troublesome, and even dangerous! Not to mention the issues with cleanliness. Still waiting for a well-engineered design… One last recommendation beyond possibly using a rigid plastic trash can (with or without a clean trash bag liner); If there are any clumps stuck to the bottom of the litter pan, DON’T try to dump that clump on the filter part, because the clump may partially break apart removing it from the litter pan. Just put it directly into your discard trash bag/can.

Product is very well built, sturdy and light. My bf loved it, two full litter boxes done in about a minute, and no getting on hands and knees to have your face 2 ft away from poo. Simply sifted and tossed the clumps into the Litter Genie. Boom, done. Price could be cheaper and you'd make millions through increased sales however.

Honestly I find it too expensive but it does work as described and works well. It comes with metal rods you insert so it stays standing up. If you have a lot of litter to change or just want to change a messy litter box fast this is great. I would put something underneath like a sheet or box to catch any litter that falls out when pouring though.

This speeds up the unpleasant job of scooping litter. It's best to use a scooper to loosen any litter that's stuck to the litter box before pouring it through the sifter. This helps to prevent accidental spills on the floor. I have 3 cats & our litter boxes can get gross very quickly! This has definitely made my life easier & I'm very happy with my purchase.
