Perfect for what I needed!
Bought as a replacement because I somehow misplaced the one that came with the camera. It works great! No issues with downloading to my computer. Shipped quickly, and arrived in perfect condition! I recommend this if you are in need of a replacement or extra cord.

Improvment over my kit cable.
Works perfectly. Seems to be good quality. Transfers are faster than the cable that came with camera that I purchased used. I use this cable, and the one it replaced, for tethering the camera to a laptop.

Does not come with card reader
First off does not come with the card reader shown in the photoNot sure why!!However I did try the cord for my else d 5000 Nikon and it works fine for the price I'm just happy to have a cord that works I some how lost the original that came with my camera

This cable is absolute garbage. I do product photography and I use this cord to tether my Nikon to a MacBook Pro so I can preview the shots in Lightroom to check for focus, etc. I got through one shoot with no problems, and it completely died on me on the second shoot... which happened to be on-location. It will work if the camera is absolutely still on a tripod, but the moment you pick it up to change an angle, it stops working. No way to shoot handheld with this cable as the fit is just not good with the camera.
