I found this coffee while looking for a cleaner, better alternative to one I used to drink, and honestly it was an excellent discovery. I had been drinking Four Sigmatic, but I was advised to stop that type of coffee during preconception, pregnancy, and breastfeeding, so I started looking for the best instant coffee I could find. I tried this Mount Hagen and never switched again. What I like most is that it feels like a purer, more straightforward coffee: instant, yes, but without that artificial or odd taste that many others have. Since it is organic freeze-dried instant coffee, that is a big advantage for me: it keeps a very good flavor, takes seconds to prepare, and is much more practical for everyday use without sacrificing quality. I also appreciate that it is a simple product, without unnecessary blends, and that the coffee profile feels clean. In my case, that was exactly what I was looking for: an instant coffee that is reliable, practical, and made with a purer composition. Once I found it, I completely stopped buying the other coffee I used before. This one became a staple for me, and honestly, if you are looking for a good organic instant coffee without unnecessary extras, this one is absolutely worth trying.

I have been drinking this Mt. Hagen Organic Coffee for years! I first started looking for an organic coffee after I saw a museum exhibit which covered how much pesticide and other chemicals end up in conventional coffee. It scared the heck out of me, because I drink a lot of coffee. This was my favorite of the organic coffees I tried and it happened to be instant coffee, which makes it even easier to prepare for myself and the other coffee drinkers in my family every morning. I started by purchasing it in the glass jars from Whole Foods, but that quickly got expensive. Then I found I could order it in resealable bags on Amazon and I have found this is the easiest, most economical way to keep it stocked in our house. I love the taste so much that I even take the little single serve packets with me when I travel. I feel it is much better for the environment and my own health than using plastic pods or conventional coffee. Another important point to note about Mt. Hagan coffee is that it is Fair Trade certified. This obviously is important if you care about how the people growing and harvesting your coffee are being treated and compensated. In my eyes, it's a win all around. I drink it hot usually, so having an electric tea kettle at home is a must if you drink as much coffee as I do. On warmer days I throw a teaspoonful of coffee onto ice in a tall glass and mix it with filtered fridge water and almond milk for a delicious iced coffee! Look at me inspiring myself to go make an iced coffee right now! Yum!

Mount Hagen is the best instant coffee I've found. Has a robust flavor and aroma that fills the house in the morning. The pouch package saves money and is easy to use.

This is the best coffee! Easy to prepare - I just eyeball the amount in my cup and add hot water - or cold if it's summer! And so delicious! Honestly better than many 'conventional' coffees I've tried. The decaf version is great, too!

This is my absolutely favorite coffee. Many years ago I had to stop drinking coffee because it upset my stomach. I tried this because I really love a cup of coffee in the morning. To my surprise, no upset stomach. For a few years now I have been drinking this. I have also had friends who also got an upset stomach from coffee switch to this and they love it. I like that everyone can adjust the strength of fit their preference. Some like it strong enough to prop your eyes open all day, others something light at the end of the day. Regardless, the flavor is smooth and not acidic at all. There is no doubt about it, this coffee is expensive. However, I am blessed that I am able to afford it. I believe in supporting smaller producers where I am able and in this instance, I am able.

This is really good instant coffee, I use it for Iced coffee, it dissolves it cold water and it’s delicious!!

Delicious, carefully freeze dried processed to keep flavor and prevent mold. . This has been my coffee for years now. Travels easier with me in the bags that can seal to keep it fresh. Tastes fine alone or mixed with nut milk and drinking chocolate. Best price i could find in bulk
