Holy snikeys is this thing loud! This ain't no toy or maybe it is because this thing could scare a poltergeist! The db’s are off the chart the shrillness of the sound is enough to cause a cranial reaction. You could probably hd it outside the window of a car and pull people over. Very impressive would defiantly help someone being attacked in a parking lot because the sound is so cuttingly schril and different people would take note and look in the direction of it. Ten stars for this.

I bought this product thinking it would be a good alternative for my sick mother-in-law to call us to her bedroom when she needed our help, since her voice is very fragile. The whistle is incredibly loud, crisp and clear. It does have a far carrying sound, which makes it excellent for outside sporty usage. But for indoors use, it is too loud and uncomfortable for the user. It is painfully loud indoors and creates that ringing noise that deafens one for a few minutes. It is also a little more bulky than I imagined, making it unwieldy. But it is a good, durable, product that does what is promissed, only too well. It just isn't appropriate for use inside small enclosed spaces, especially by small fragile elderly people.

What can I say ladies & gents. My life is officially complete. I have found a tool that has brought joy to my life that was previously unimaginable. Not only does it have 3 mind altering tones but the sound decibel it reaches can truly pierce your eardrums. I do not know how I lived with myself prior to owning such an amazing piece of technology. The ease of switching between sounds is a breeze. I can truly confuse my students with this incredible feature. The obsolete whistle blowing Physical Education teacher needs to pack up and make way for the new generation of electronic whistle users. During my 18 years teaching I never thought an electronic whistle would be the item that has helped me reach my full potential, but it has! Just yesterday I had a student come up to me & said Mr. XYZ "I want to be just like you when I grow up", to which I replied you better get on Amazon & purchase this whistle or else you won't even come close. It's quite loud though, but if I press the top of it against my shirt or jeans, the sound is lessened yet still noticeable. I have a large backyard and sometimes my dogs can't hear when I call for them to come in. But with this whistle and some good treats, I was successful in quickly training them to respond immediately.

this whistle is incredibly loud and wouldn’t be incredibly effective. If any taxis would come close to my hotel lol highly recommend this whistle.

I bought this for scouting, it's a scout essential. I made the mistake of trying it in my living room and almost blew out my ear drum. 🤣 But honestly, this is amazing. The 3 tones are great. And it's small enough to carrying in my scouting backpack. I'm pretty certain I will be found if I am lost in the wild.
