Installation was somewhat difficult due to disassembly required of refrigerator to get access to the part. Easy to install once you have access to the part. Saved big service repair bill.

Did the trick to fix fridge
My Whirlpool fridge wouldn't go into defrost mode. Did some research and figured out that this product might do the trick, which it did. Took a minute to install.

Junk from China wrong defrost limits! TOO warm freezer during defrost...
Correct limit L42-30F. Defrost begins @ 12* F and below & terminates @ 42*F. This part is labeled L48-15F Refrigerator & freezer don't get cold because of this part. Defrost cyle starts @ 33* F or below (21* too warm) & terminates @ 48* F & above (6* too warm) This allows temperature in freezer compartment to be much too warm during defrost cycle. Avoid this part if you have a bottom freezer. Wrong temperature & waste of time & money! Junk

Didn’t need this part.
This looked like a good product for a reasonable reasonable price. However it turned out I didn’t need it because another part was the real cause of the problem, so this was returned without installing it.
