My best go to lotion. Leaves hands soft and soothing nongreasy light weight. Great for Tattoos aftercare. The formula is water-based for a lightweight feel, but it functions as an emulsion. It won't completely dissolve like a pure water-soluble gel, which is exactly why it's so effective at locking in deep hydration that promotes faster healing and less itching during the healing process. It's fragrance free and cost effective and a little goes a long way. It's an all day everyday hydrating lotion.

I enjoy this product so much I have added it to my subscriptions, so I do not run out of it. Finding a lotion that actually makes my skin feel like its getting better has been a journey. This product is like any other pump bottle, product pumps flawlessly. I have not really picked up on a scent, if so its very light. I have tried various products and always had a heavy residue after applying that gets on my clothing. With this product I find that my whole body feeling protected without feeling like there is a stain on my clothes or my skin feeling "greasy". The lotion goes on smooth and since it is "light" it soaks into the skin. I have just recently started using it on my face as well. Even if I do put on makeup, it does not cause the powder to cake up my appearance. I have noticed in the evening that my skin has a healthy glow and still feels smooth. I noticed that since using it my skin seems less dry throughout the day and has a healthy glow. I had to buy a larger bottle since my husband has tried it and seems to be a fan as well. I also use it for his legs and feet giving them a nice soft feeling. Yes, this one is a keeper (not just my husband but the lotion as well).

As you can see from all of the positive and thoughtful reviews here, CeraVe's standard lotion (this product) is a fantastic moisturizer (and likewise, most everything they make is spectacular). This is really top-notch skin care. CeraVe is often mentioned in the same sentence with lotions and creams from companies like Cetaphil and VaniCream. These are products made not just to give you serious skin care, but made in a fashion to avoid ingredients that can make sensitive skin very irritated. They make expensive lotions, creams, soaps, and sunscreen, but they make very, very, very high-quality products that give the best performance you can get (in fact, this stuff is so good that numerous independent reviews have identified products from CeraVe, Cetaphil, and VaniCream to be superior to many of the "designer" skin care products that often cost hundreds of dollars per bottle!!! Further, ask a dermatologist [or an allergist who specializes in skin conditions] which moisturizer they prefer and you will most likely hear one of those three names!!!) I happen to be one of those people that if I apply a lotion or cream with one or more of the (many) ingredients that tends to irritate sensitive skin, 10 minutes later you might freak out from seeing a person who is (literally) the color red and call 911. No lie...certain irritants cause me to have a reaction that could only be described as "freaky". As CeraVe is built on the reputation of making non-irritating products, this Lotion (and most all of their product line) is a blessing for people like me (VaniCream applies here as well.) But the "non-irritating" aspect is just one of the reasons these products are so great...their performance in how well they moisturize and help repair damaged skin is another reason for such great reputations. Like the other names mentioned above, CeraVe makes a few skin care products for different uses and applications. This particular one is their standard Lotion, and it is their "lighter" moisturizer (with their creams being heavier). Made to work well for everyone and designed to be a great "day" moisturizer for people of all skin types & conditions, it gives... ---excellent immediate relief from that itchy feeling from dryness and feeling or irritation, ---healing at a much faster speed than without the usage or with any standard lotion, and ---long-lasting protection (one application will get you through the day). Also, it is... ---well-suited to people with sensitivities to irritants & those suffering from any of a long list of major skin conditions ---not greasy once worked in, ---designed NOT to clog pores and NOT to irritate acne, ---very easy to work in, ---wears lightly without any feeling of "residue," and ---works great as a post-shave lotion for reducing irritation/razor burn without causing further irritation that some after-shave lotions can do. My personal usage of this product is (in combination with a few products from Cetaphil, VaniCream Lite, Gold Bond, Eurcerin, and Aveeno [depending which is on sale/available]) as my 'day moisturizer'. At night, I use VaniCream's original Cream, which is a fantastic cream, but it is heavy and not something I want to wear during the day. This Cerave is much easier to work in, wears lightly without any residue feeling, but still delivers powerful healing to skin and lasts a long time. So a little bit of this CeraVe in the morning and I am good until the end of the day when I shower***. The biggest downside here is price. CeraVe is a premium product, and so it comes at a premium price. With that said, your money isn't only going "to the name" because this product works exceptionally well and I personally feel its performance justifies its price many times over. The difference it can make can be tremendous, and better skin often means an improvement in quality of life, which is something you can't put a price tag on. So if you are considering trying CeraVe, my personal advice is that you should go for it as you will most likely be very satisfied with the outcome. (***if you have SERIOUS dry skin, check out CeraVe's or VaniCream's creams; this for the day and the cream at night can tackle serious skin issues like a champ!)

CeraVe hand lotion is perfect for keeping my hands soft and moisturized without feeling overly greasy. It absorbs nicely and helps with dry skin. I love that it’s gentle enough for everyday use.

I have been using this lotion for my face and for the bags under my eyes. I have noticed that there is less wrinkling and deep was to my bags. It has a chemical smell, doesn’t feel as greasy when added as other lotions, and has a good pump.

I honestly love this moisturizer. It is the only one that does not break me out, clog my pores or irritate my skin. I have acne‑prone, easily inflamed, sensitive skin and this is one of the very few products that actually keeps my skin calm. The texture is perfect for me. It feels like a light cream, not heavy or greasy and it gives real hydration without sitting on top of my skin. It also has basically no smell, which I really appreciate because strong scents overwhelm me. It dries down clean with no residue and no weird film which some creams definitely leave behind. I dont wear makeup often but this sits nicely underneath it as well. Also good under sunscreen. Overall, I just really love this stuff. It’s gentle, simple and effective and it works with my skin instead of against it.

I use this for my tattoo that was freshly done to keep the scabbing kinda soft to avoid cracking. My tattoo is a deep black ink so the healing process is long. As time went on I noticed the skin in this area felt healthier and softer. The price was fair for the size of the bottle in its easy to apply a little goes a long way and doesn't need to be thick spread it think until absorbs into the skin.

I do ❤️ my CereVe Moisterizing Lotion. I've been using it for a couple of years now and my skin has improved so much. My legs, arms, hands use to be so dry ... even after putting other lotions on but this CereVe is just wonderful for my skin! I also use the cream for my face & body at night. It's just thicker & takes a bit longer to soak in ... not alot of time but by the time your finished with everything, put your pj 's on, crawl into bed & do your hands. It's all that easy!!! Fragrance free too. There isn't any sun protection so you still have to add that after you put your lotion on in the a.m. & it dries. Enjoy 😉

Me ha gustado mucho. La textura es ligera y se absorbe rápidamente, algo que se agradece especialmente con el calor. Hidrata muy bien, pero sin dejar la piel grasosa, pesada o con esa sensación incómoda de tener una capa de crema encima. Tampoco tiene olores raros ni una fragancia que pueda resultar demasiado femenina; prácticamente no tiene presencia de olor, así que funciona muy bien para cualquier persona y para toda la familia. Para mí, lo mejor es el equilibrio entre hidratación y ligereza: deja la piel cómoda, suave e hidratada sin sentirse pesada. Es de esas cremas que puedes usar todos los días sin pensarlo demasiado. Muy buena para tenerla como hidratante de uso diario, especialmente en climas cálidos.

Was hesitant to buy after seeing that other sellers are selling duplicate ones. The packaging was good and seems like original CeraVe. Nice product. Does the job in dry weather. However, Cerave moisturing cream had a nice creamy consistency giving you a matte finish.

I've been using CeraVe products for 7 years and it never disappoints me. And this shop is one of the trusted shop here in Japan Amazon I guess 😁 I avoid purchasing in other shops as others seems odd.
