Used for years, works on all mammals in yard
I’ve been using this stuff in various forms for close to a decade. The make your own from concentrate is far away the most cost-effective approach if you’re doing a lot of plants. I use it year-round, on everything from small bonsai to vegetable gardens to bright flowers to small trees. It works well with deer – just you have to be very consistent with spraying and spray a bit more frequently if it is raining a lot or if you have very high deer pressure. It also works great on squirrels, rabbits, and rodents. I found that this prevents squirrels from chewing on a young magnolia tree that I planted, and my bonsai no longer have rodent interest when they are overwintering outside. It is – however - a pain to apply because it stinks so bad. You have to choose a time when there’s less human activity outside, and wear gloves and use garbage bags to contain stinky supplies. However, it is more than worth it to be able to grow pretty much whatever I want with minimal damage, and minimal safety risk to people and pets. Great product.

Gag-worthy smell disappears fast and product works!
If you have deer and rabbits, this may save your garden. Two very important notes if you haven't tried it before: 1) make sure you do not get blowback on you from your sprayer, the smell is truly gagging. It dissipates within an hour but you do NOT want to perfume yourself with it! And 2) you have to reapply to NEW GROWTH. First year I used it on a large lily bed, I forgot that flower buds were new growth... the deer left the bed alone and I was so happy - until hundreds of buds all got chomped in one overnight eating orgy because I didn't spray the buds! That said, apart from new growth, you will find that one application is effective for at least a month, even with rain.

Works for us, has a bad Oder and is reasonably priced.
Liquid Fence works good around our house for deterring the deer, but it does have a strong unpleasant Oder that lingers for a day or two. I haven't really run a test for how long it lasts because that would give the deer the advantage. 😂 I reapply it after a heavy rain just to be sure it's still working and since we've been using "Liquid Fence" we have very little to no damage from the deer except the babies who will sample everything, but they usually only take one bite of the treated plants and then move on. This 40 0z. bottle makes a bit over three gallons and that should take us thru summer. All the deer repellants have increased in price over the last few years, and this one is about middle of the road price wise about $40 bucks and that's a bunch cheaper than plants.

Excellent !
I used to love having gear on my backyard, until I developed Lyme disease. And then started using the spray and voila no more deer in my backyard. No more ticks in my backyard. No more deer droppings in my backyard. And no more deer eating what they consider to be a salad bar (my flowers). Works great

The only one in town with full hostas!
It works! Yes, it’s a bit spendy, and I go through a lot of it rather quickly. But I think I’m the only one in town who has hostas that haven’t been devoured. I keep applying it because we keep getting rain. And the smell is rather pungent, but it’s reassuring to me To know that it’s still working.

It works she’s more than I can say about a lot of things we used
I’ve used this before very very much like this. It stinks to high heaven. I will say that much you get it on your hands. It’s gonna be there for a while. I had a real problem with deer two years ago they ate all my daylilies next year I bought this, and I used it on the garden around the daylilies and the deer came into the yard, but they did not go near the daylilies at all so it works that much I can say now I just hope it’ll work on the rabbits that hlove eating my black-eyed Susans in my cornflower plants keep you posted.

Faulty Product and No Customer Support. No one to help. Terrible experience.
The product failed and has not been helpful in repelling rabits. I have tried contacting the supplier and Amazon for a reveiew and a refund and no response... it's been nearly 2 years now. I have the product available to send back to them for testing as I suspect it could be a faulty batch. The product was expensive which is what gave me the confidence that it would work. However it has made no difference to the rabbits.. Mayby Australian Rabbits are not impacted ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyway, I don't recommend purchasing this, 1. because it doesn't work on rabbits and 2. Because no one from the supplier or Amazon responds when you have an issue - they just remain silent.
