Awesome Boots
I've been wearing these boots daily for about 2 1/2 years now. I have worked in them, hiked in them, and just worn them as my general footwear nonstop. For the price they can't be beat. Mine are pretty worn and scuffed by this point and they're STILL incredibly comfortable boots. They seem waterproof, I honestly don't know if they're advertised as such but it's never been a problem for me. They do get marked up pretty easy if you wear them regularly but they're very comfortable all day. As for aesthetically, they give that combat boot appearance without being high top boots. Seem to support the ankle well. No problems with the zipper or velcro. My right boot has a tear in the inside in the back but it causes me no problems. Been there a while, so be warned about that possibility but I don't baby them at all, I'm quite rough with them and don't untie them to take them off. I just unzip and slip them right off so it's bound to happen from the friction. You'll probably be fine if you're not as lazy as I am lol. By this point the insole is a bit warn and they're not as comfortable to wear all day as they once were, but really not by much. They're still surprisingly comfortable after almost 3 years of daily wear, and a new insole would solve that. Either way, the boots themselves are a great price and as long as they keep making them I'll never wear another boot.

Great hiking/work boots
Got these boats because I liked the style and I needed a new pair of work/hiking/outdoor boots. I am rough on them a pair usually last about a year. My last pair ($180 carbon fibber toe, not these) have made it to almost 3 years but I have not worn them for a little over 2 so they probably would not have made it the full year. I do not see in paying $100 plus for a pair of boots that will only last a year. The cheapest pair I could find at the boot store was $85 (The ugliest pair and the quality they may have lasted 3 months) Royal King cheapest pair was $120 all good quality. Received these and they fit perfectly and appear to be made with the quality of a pair of boots that cost 2 to 2.5 times these do. I have abused them first 2 days I got them, digging in the clay and rocks to dig up a septic tank. Spent one day in the rain and mud digging. Have been on one 1 mile hike trough the woods and trails near my house. They have kept my feet dry and once the mud dried and brushed off they still look like the day I received them. I believe that these are going to make it a year or more. Will update if they don't make it. Again great quality for the price so far I am impressed.

Pleasantly Surprised
I expected low quality at this price, but these are just fine. They are comfortable for a person with flat feet as I have found lots of boots like this to have too much arch. They may not be great for all day on your feet, but they are comfortable enough for casual wear. Size seems to be spot on for the 9.5 wide. The side zipper is great for folks like me whose feet swell and have issues with regular boots. Give 'em a try. At this price, you can't go wrong.

Very comfortable from the start
Very comfortable from the very first day, these boots broke in quickly and my feet never got sore during the break-in period. I really like the bigger toe box on these, most tactical boots I have tried have a smaller toe box and rub the top of my toes the first few weeks causing extreme pain until they are broken in, the larger toe box on these made it so this was not an issue. The materials these boots are made out of seem a little lighter and less quality than the other boots I have used over the past few decades, but at the price point I wasn't expecting top of the line materials. I'll see how well they hold up over regular use, and update my review if there are issues with the quality that affects the life of the boot. Overall, for the price point, they are much better than I expected. Hoping they work out well and last a while. FOLLOW-UP: Have been wearing these daily for almost 10 months now, they are still going strong. I generally wear out a pair of the high end boots about every year, so these are lasting just as well, which has impressed me, especially for the price point. They went on sale and I grabbed 2 more pair as I like them so much. I also purchased another pair of the taller military style ones for when working in the yard or building things, as the other brand that I was using just died on me. Very happy with these, hope they are around for a good long while.

Good work boots!
I work on the railroad and these are my everyday boots walking on ballast etc, they are holding up very well , very good toe box for those who have wide feet or want relief from bunions.. and comfortable!

Tongue is too fat
I wanted a boot with a zipper, don't want to bother with laces. These are very difficult to put on without adjusting the laces. I think the tongue is too big so it's difficult to put your foot inside. My previous boots I did not need to bother with laces.... zip.... unzip..... done. Other than this issue (for me) nice boot.

I'd give these 6 stars if I could. 27+ years experience with boots.
27 years in LE/Security work here. The most impressive duty boots I've ever owned for the price. On other boots the side zipper always breaks in one way or another, I've worn the previous pair for well over 2 years with zero failure from daily use. After 2+ years of hard foot patrols in all terrain & weather conditions the only issue I had was that the left rear heel, below my Achilles tendon, ripped. Keep in mind this is after years of wear by pulling the boots on. The boot takes a decent shine but not the best, I'm used to higher end boots polishing like a mirror, however; the shine is still exceptional on these NORTIV 8 boots. I'm on my second pair and it's coming up on another year and they're still solid!! Comfort? It might sound like I work for the company, lol. In my years of experience I've NEVER had a more comfortable boot!! Granted I always use sole inserts but that's beside the point. In closing, if you're a professional with a street beat, buy these boots. I'm afraid that these boots might be discontinued so I'm tempted to buy a dozen more pairs and I'm not even joking. I'm a retired LEO currently working private security and I wish I had these since the beginning of my career.

Good value for the money
The quality of these boots are good. They are quite stiff, the height is good. The lace quality is good. The zipper works well. I wore them for a ride in the rain and didn't have any leakage.
