Cassette Cleaner-01

Worked as expected.

Head cleaner tape looks ok. Liked the idea of putting liquid cleaner on cleaner sponge .I can only guess this setup cleaned the head. I really didn't have a problem but I came across a box of old tapes (40) and ran them through my tape player to see if they would still play. I bought a tape player/radio/cd player from an estate sale. To my surprise all 3 functions worked so I bought this head cleaner just for insurance in case I had a head problem. 38 tapes ran and played well after running the head cleaner.

Works well. One thing to be aware of is you need to open the bottle of fluid with a needle.

Ran it twice and everything was good

This cleaner worked very well on a 30 year old cassette player I found, stored in the basement. We cleaned out all the dust but the sound wasn’t as clear as hoped. I ordered this cleaner and it made a big difference in the sound. We gave the player to our preteen grandson and he is very happy with it!

Make sure the aperture of the solution bottle is big enough to squeeze out the solution. The hole on mine was too small, and when I went to squeeze the drops into the cassette tape, it blew up in my face.

I’ve used my car’s cassette player for years, no cleaning, nor any issues. I figured since it’s never been cleaned before, I should use a dedicated system that would clean and demagnetize the heads. So, I purchased a cheap product from Amazon, and tried it out deducing the overwhelmingly positive reviews were real. Needless to say, it turned my cassettes dark brown, and the sound quality is terrible. Subtle warble and loss of high frequency response is all I get now. Clearly, this cheap product fulfilled its purpose of being cheap garbage. Thereafter, I cleaned the head with a Q-tip and alcohol; the same issue was present. I cannot stress enough to do your own research and actually purchase something that A. Is valuable, and B. Lives up to that value. I’m not sure how this product got good reviews being that it completely destroyed my cassette player, but I guess anything is possible. Thank you so much for a cheap, destructive product that destroyed a perfectly functioning $300+ car stereo cassette player. I bet that won’t be accommodated for by this terrible company that makes cheap products that destroy quality systems as it only highlights their dedication to fooling the general public.

Cassette is easy to use and cleaned up some static I had.

Definitely worked well. Much better sound now.
