I got these lights for my 3d printer because i wanted to be able to hook them up without using a converter and the lighting output on the printer is 24v. The strips were easy to cut and solder wires to for connectors. They are also brighter than expected. I have been using them for about 6 months now and they are working well. Lighting was a must for me because my printer is in a shed with poor ambient light and I sometimes video my prints for social media. The sticky-back made them easy to install and is still holding up after about 6 months of switching between hot and cold in the chamber. By plugging them into the printer's light port, I am able to control them with the computer that runs the printer. I would definitely recommend these if you need 24v white lights for a project. I also hooked the part of the strip I didn't use for the printer and place it on a shelf above my desk with an old 24v power supply I had laying around to light the desk better.

These work great easy to install. Adhesive tape could be better, but overall 5 out of 5. I have installed 5 sections of this totaling 150 feet. You will need a beefy psu to make sure you don’t have voltage drop.

Had old LED light strips that were slowly breaking. I think the person who had originally installed them had cheaped out on them. I looked around and found multiple recommendations for this brand, as it's supposed to be good but affordable. They installed quite easily, and look great (the uniform lighting is very nice vs the distinctive point-lighting from individual LEDs on the old strip). The only problem is that they start peeling off the underside of the cabinetry very quickly. The included adhesive clips also peel off quickly. It's necessary to use the screws. I had to purchase a bunch of extra clips to hold the strips in place, but once I had the ends and some middle-support clips, the adhesive holds well enough for the rest of the strip. The lighting is bright and looks very nice. They get a bit hot at full brightness, so to extend their life I usually stick to more like 75% brightness. The IP65 rating should help the survival of the strips that are near the stovetop, where a lot of steam is often released. The old strips were not sealed and had corrosion on them in that area.

Nice bright, color accurate, strip with consistent light output, not segmented like some cheaper strips. Adhesive is STRONG. I had to remove a strip I had mounted in my 3D printer enclosure and thought I would tear the strip in half before it came unstuck. But the strip came free with zero damage or issues, continues to work flawlessly, and re-adhered instantly. The led strip is easy to cut, solder, and power. Dimming is even throughout all output levels, and easy to control through either a dedicated controller or simply varying the input current/voltage, as I did. The length is a good amount for the money.

These units are ratings for 9W per meter. For a 5-meter string, that's 45 watts. I purchased two of these to string together, using them for light in the eve of my solar-powered shed. So this should be pulling 90 watts + the overhead of the power supply (I used a 12V, 6A unit). I measured the idle power pull of my power supply, which is 2W. But these fully on (I don't have any dimming setup for these), it pulls 65.2W. I confirmed this with two different devices. This is a very pleasant surprise as I was expecting a draw of over 90W, and when you are running solar, this is a big deal. I am using the tape backing. It is affixed to sheet metal that I did an alcohol wipe down and installed when it was pretty hot out and took the time to really press the strips into the metal. I'm only a few days in but so far I'm having no issues with it coming loose (and gravity is working against it). I'll update if things change, which I suspect would happen over winter if they do. The light looks great too, as it is fully diffused in this type of light setup. Much brighter than I expected, as you can see from the pic I shared.

This product is only for people who know how to install. It has no plug or usb to attach and is of no use to novices.
