Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream Daily Moisturizer with 4.5% Squalane

I started using this years ago but have switched at times to different moisturizers just to try something new and/or cheaper. But I always come back to the Ultra Facial Cream and really should just stop getting sucked in by marketing for other creams. This cream is the only thing I’ve found that keeps my dry, mid-40s skin soft, smooth, and flake-free. While it feels light, it’s deeply moisturizing, it absorbs quickly, and it leaves my skin with a healthy glow - not greasy or matte. It layers well under sunscreen and over my retinol serum. While it is on the pricier side, a little goes a long way, and IMO it’s worth every penny. Highly recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Moisturizer for Mature Skin I absolutely love this moisturizer and have purchased it several times. It’s very moisturizing without feeling heavy, and it goes on incredibly smooth. It has worked especially well for my mature skin and leaves my face feeling soft and hydrated. One of my favorite things about it is how well it works under makeup. My foundation glides on much more smoothly over this cream and doesn’t seem to settle into or emphasize my fine lines as much. It gives me a smoother, more hydrated base for makeup without feeling greasy. Definitely one of those skincare products I keep coming back to!

Why I bought it: I wanted a daily moisturizer and decided to upgrade from CeraVe PM. My skin is pretty normal but can run a little dry, so I wanted something that was easy to use every day but still gave me more hydration. Experience: After using this for months, it has become my go-to moisturizer both morning and night. It feels lightweight for a cream and absorbs quickly, but it still feels more moisturizing than CeraVe PM. My skin feels softer and more comfortable after using it, without any greasy or heavy feeling. Verdict: Exactly what I want from a daily face cream: lightweight, easy to apply, and actually moisturizing. It is more expensive than basic drugstore moisturizers, but I do not think it is unreasonable, especially since it goes on sale often. I would buy it again.

I love this moisturizer. I’ve tried countless moisturizers that made my skin break out and didn’t even moisturize my skin. This facial cream moisturizes my skin and also does not make my acne worse. If anything it actually helps my acne. Trust me, it I started to believe I couldn’t use moisturizer at all because all of them made my skin look worse, even if it was just more red looking. This one makes my skin tone and texture look good, I have oily skin and this does not make it worse. You only need a pea size amount of this. It’s worth the money, and I will continue to purchase this.

I like this moisturizer and it does a good job keeping my skin hydrated. It feels creamy and moisturizing without being extremely heavy, and my skin feels softer after using it. It works especially well when my skin is feeling dry. I took off one star because I think it is a little expensive for the amount you get. Overall, though, it's a very good everyday moisturizer and I would use it again. My skin appearance looks good to. There's no fragrance. Application easy.

I bought this because I have extremely dry, very sensitive skin and most moisturizers either sting, break me out, or just sit on top without actually helping. I was mainly looking for something that could get me through the entire day without constant reapplication. This cream has been the most reliable option I’ve found. It’s rich without feeling greasy, absorbs well, and actually keeps my skin comfortable all day. With other moisturizers, I’d be reaching for more by midday, especially in colder or drier weather. With this one, I apply it once in the morning and my skin still feels hydrated hours later. It applies great. The lack of scent is a big plus. Fragrance tends to irritate my skin, and this hasn’t caused any redness or reaction. It layers well under sunscreen and makeup, which isn’t always the case with thicker creams. The price is undeniably high, and that’s the biggest downside. That said, a little goes a long way, and for how well it performs, I’ve decided it’s worth it for me. If you have very dry, sensitive skin and can manage the cost, this is a solid investment.

I’m just learning to use this product as I’ve made it my daytime moisturizer. It’s light going on and covers well without fragrances and doesn’t irritate my skin. I am really liking the way it stays with me all day, however in the worst heat of Texas summer it could become too much but it’s July and this moisturizer is doing a great job.

LOVE this cream! It feels good on the skin, it’s not greasy or sticky, and a little goes a long way. It also doesn’t stink to high heaven of perfume. Highly recommended!

Love this cream. My skin has been thanking me ever since I started using it. Since I had my toddler there isn’t much time for my skincare and it’s been very dry so I needed something that keeps my skin hydrated and this one works like magic. Wish I had tried it sooner but its never too late.
