Organic Rooibos Chai Tea, 18 Herbal Tea Bags, Caffeine Free

It's a wonderful, smooth, spiced chai. Smells amazing, tastes amazing. I love that it's not caffeinated either; most chai is made with black tea (which has caffeine), but this is made with rooibos (making it an herbal/no caffeine tea). It's quickly become one of my favorite teas. It's flavorful and spiced without being too strong or heavy. It's definitely it's own unique, and quite good, tea, but if I had to say a tea it was closest to I think it could be like a cousin of a Bengal tea. If you haven't tried rooibos before, don't worry about it being too strong. This tea has all the spice and flavor of a regular chai and the rooibos sits nicely in the background. I can't really say what exactly the rooibos tastes like, it blends so well with the spices that it's hard to distinguish on it's own, but I'm sure it does have a flavor that's being contributed to the overall taste of the tea. The tea is earthy (in a good, mellow way, like a ginger earthy. Not like potato skin or dirt got in your mouth earthy), spiced, and smooth. It's not spicy, but spiced in a flavorful and fulfilling way. It's a great comfort tea that provides a warming spice with a calming, aromatic depth. I would definitely recommend it. It's a great tea to have around, caffeine free too, and works well for any occasion. I've gone through two boxes from the store and when I couldn't find it at my local store anymore I got my third box from here. I had a friend try it that normally isn't that big on teas and chai, and they liked this, so I think it would be a fairly palatable tea for most people. It's like the chicken soup of teas to me; very likeable and flavorful in a calm but deep/complex way.

Love this tea so much it has the best taste a light chai and it smells good. It tastes great just like chai tea. I add almond milk and some agave and it’s great!

Top quality ingredients and taste. I have always like masala chai, but am trying to stay away from caffeine at the moment, so I came across this rooibos chai. The taste is very balanced and you can really taste all the different flavors with the ginger, clove, cardamom, and cinnamon. rooibos is caffeine free and apparently high in antioxidants. All the ingredients are organic and with loose tea you don't get any of the microplastics associated with teabags. 10/10 highly recommended.

I’ve been buying this tea in stores for a while but this was a good price and delivered to my door. These are expensive but worth the taste and I really like that they are microplastic free.

This is the best Rooibos Chai Tea I have found (most are made with black tea which I avoid due to the caffeine). I love the variety of spices in this one - cloves, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and cardamom. Many Chai teas on the market will only choose 3 of those spices and they fall short on depth of flavor. The only spice this one is missing, in my opinion, is star anise or a similar licorice taste. To remedy that - I usually mix this tea with a root beer flavored tea we get from a different brand. The combination is excellent and rivals or bests the chai tea lattes from the fancy coffee shops. I also appreciate that this chai blend does not include pepper which I often find too spicey. I also love that Numi does not bleach their tea bags or use microplastics, so I feel better about what could be leaching into my delicious cup of tea. The price is fair and right on par with other similar brands. Well done, Numi!

I couldn’t believe how close it comes to a typical masala chai. The color after adding a splash of half‑and‑half is surprisingly similar too. Of course it’s not identical, but for a caffeine‑free option, the flavor profile is warm, spicy, and comforting in all the right ways. This has become my go‑to afternoon “chai” that doesn’t mess with my sleep. A really solid substitute for anyone who loves masala chai but wants to cut back on caffeine. I’m glad I gave it a try.
