NeoTech Care Pregnancy Belly Band, Maternity Belt, for Pregnancy Belly Support, Back/Pelvic Support (Size M, Ivory Color)

I never write reviews, and there's already over 3000 steller reviews for this belt. So why bother? Because you need to buy it. No really. It's that good. I'm 32 weeks into an averagely uncomfortable pregnancy thus far, but started having really bad back and pelvic pain the last couple of weeks. Getting up and down at work was getting hard to manage. Walking the dog hurt like hell. I waddled in pain everywhere I went. I bought this, hoping it might help a little and didn't plan on wearing it all the time. BUT OMG GUYS. I wore it to work and while walking the dog a couple days, then went without it in the same situations (you know, for the sake of science). When I wear it, I can go an entire shift without my back seizing up, my pelvis feeling like a loose sack of glass shards, or waddling slowly in pain. I just feel normal. It helps far more than I anticipated. I walked my dog for HALF AN HOUR without pain, rather than two blocks. So. Excited. Upsides, besides making you feel like your 20 week self again: 1) It's smoother under clothes than I anticipated, and I wear fitted maternity shirts. 2) Comfortable material - I wear over the belly pants but the back part is on my skin, hasn't rubbed or been a problem. 3) Doesn't slip - I wear it without the over-belly band and it stays in place. Couple of downsides that just aren't a deal, but I'll mention anyway. 1) Have to take it off to pee. Which is often. I just take the back portion off and hike the belly band up to my boobs and do my business, then reassemble. Not too difficult. 2) I read the instructions and still don't understand the extra Velcro thing. But the band fits perfectly after measuring the way they say before ordering, so whatever. 3) Takes a bit of trial and error to get it positioned well the first time, but once you do, you won't even notice you're wearing it. Other than not being in pain, that is. Tl;dr : If you're pregnant with back and/or pelvic pain, take your measurements and buy this.

When my wife was starting to hurt and feel extremely uncomfortable at a key point of the pregnancy, she found this belt to be extremely helpful in removing a large amount of the weight on her back and especially that she felt going down toward her diaphragm, which I could tell was painful for her. She was thrilled was how supportive this device was.

The NeoTech Care Pregnancy Support Maternity Belt definitely helps take some of the strain off the lower back and abdomen during pregnancy. It offers good support and makes daily activities a bit easier by redistributing the weight more evenly. That said, it’s not the most comfortable for long wear. After a while, I did feel a little bit of pressure and mild discomfort, especially when sitting for extended periods. Adjusting the fit helps, but it’s something to keep in mind. Overall, it does the job well and provides the extra support needed, but comfort could be improved. A solid option if you need a maternity belt, though not the absolute best.

Very easy to use, supportive

My wife is 7 months pregnant and has been having back pain and contractions for a few weeks now. This is our second child, and her bump grew much faster than the first time around. After a recent visit to her OB, they recommended she stay off her feet as much as she can, and try a maternity belt. This is hard, because she's a teacher and can't just "sit at a desk" all day. After searching on Amazon at the various options, we finally settled on the NEOtech brand because the price was good and it seemed to have a lot of positive reviews. We purchased in Size Medium and it arrived 2 days later. The process of using this is 3 steps: 1 - You put the support band under the "baby bump" and around your back to provide support 2 - You add in the back support (which attaches to the front portion) 3 - You place a piece on top of the baby bump to hold everything in place In terms of actually putting it on, I think our biggest struggle was we bought a Size Medium (she wears Small pre-pregnancy) and it was a bit of a tight stretch to get it around her waist. To make matters worse, the "velcro" to connect everything together was a bit confusing (there's a long piece marked "cut excess length" which doesn't stick to anything!) and she said it felt like wearing a girdle. The excess pressure actually made the baby MORE active, which in turn made her more uncomfortable. After a few days of trying it out and adjusting as much as possible (limited) she decided it wasn't really helping out. Maybe a larger size would provide a different experience, but for the price, I don't think either of us wants to buy a second belt. VERDICT: The back piece is stretchy, but that just makes it a tight fit around your stomach. It was a bit bulky on the front/sides when attached and was somewhat visible underneath clothing. It didn't provide as much support as indicated, but it could be due to the size. Try your luck, but don't hold your breath for a "pregnancy pain" cure!

almost 8 months pregnant when I ordered this to go to 6 flags with my family and we were there from 1130am to 9ish pm and this support band gave me such great support to walk and stand in lines. I also took a great walk to find my son some lip balm while he was in line and i felt no pressure. This park has many hills and my back and the pressure from my babys weight on the bottom of my stomach was nonexistent. I didn’t even have to pee as frequently because it lifted baby off my bladder a bit. I wore it on the outside of my shirt, I dont think it would feel good on bare skin.

Love this pregnancy support band, I gained weight primarily in my belly, but baby was sitting high and up in my back so this band saved my life with supporting my back and belly. I didn’t like the top band across my tummy, but it was not an issue bc it just velcros off so no obnoxious tabs or anything with not using it, I just didn’t attach it. Very glad I got this, I would not have been as comfortable as I was without it. Prior to using my back pain was fairly limiting by mid day, now I can make it all day without my heating pad or needing to lay on the couch!

I got this for my daughter and she loves it. She said it helped alleviate her back pain, and that it stretches as her belly grows.

I do a lot of walking and was beginning to really struggle with back ache and ligament pain low down in my tummy and groin. I started using this belt and it has been amazing - my pain has reduced massively. I have been wearing this for a couple of months and with just another month of my pregnancy left it still fits perfectly as it is easily adjustable. I do not find it scratchy at all and have worn it both under and over clothing - usually over maternity leggings. It stays in place perfectly and I have not had any problem with it at all. It provides a very good level of support and I would highly recommend this belt. The quality of the material/stitching etc is very good and it was thankfully an affordable price for me. I could not have coped without this product, thank you so much!

Ik heb deze zwangerschapsband gekocht voor mijn vrouw, die op dat moment 20 weken zwanger was van een tweeling. Ze had steeds meer last van haar rug en buik, en deze band heeft echt een wereld van verschil gemaakt. De ondersteuning is uitstekend vooral voor de onderrug en onderbuik en de band is makkelijk verstelbaar, waardoor hij met haar groei meebeweegt. Ze voelde meteen verlichting tijdens het dragen, ook tijdens langere wandelingen of huishoudelijke klusjes. Goede kwaliteit, zit comfortabel en doet precies wat het belooft. Echt een aanrader voor aanstaande moeders, zeker bij een meerlingzwangerschap!
