I just wanted a Yo-yo... I bought the Yo-yo I like the Yo-yo it Yo's really great, and well it yo's pretty great also 10/10

This yo-yo is a great buy, especially for the price. It’s simple, works exactly how it should, and I’ve had no issues with it at all. I use it every day and it’s held up really well. It’s also a good size and fits comfortably in your hand, making it easy to use whether you’re just starting out or using it casually. Overall, a solid, affordable yo-yo that does the job perfectly.

Great for a gift it's a Duncan Imperial they're just as good as they were back in the day perfect for a beginner nice and smooth on the Dismount sleep time is a few seconds could be longer but it is a beginner yo-yo so that makes sense the size is exactly the size of the yoyo should be easy to hold the hand smoothness and response time on pulling up on the string is right where it should be Duncan yoyos or one of the best

So, my yoyo experience level is intermediate I would say, and I have had quite a few yoyos in my life. I have a $20 dollar yoyo that I absolutely love, but as a collector I can never have enough. So when I saw this Imperial for $3 shipped to my door, I threw all worries and bad reviews to the wind. I thought- could this yoyo really be THAT much worse than the one I had as a kid? Well the truth is- I don't remember haha. But for 3 bucks, what are we really complaining about here?? It was probably exactly that much "back in the day" so the fact that these are made in China now is not surprising. Costs rise. You want a better yoyo, then pay the $10+ and get a nicer one. This one though, in my opinion is just fine and has quickly become one of my favorites! Out of the box, it DID feel kind of jenky. But after about 20 throws it was pretty broken in and now feels as smooth as butter. Quality is so so, but again, figure in the cheapness. Mine had 2 pretty nasty plastic burrs on the side that I chipped off with my nail (as shown in the pic). Also, the gold screenprinting on the front is basically all worn off on mine in less than 24 hrs. I do however, have it in my hand constantly, plus I run hot, and generally kind of oily. It's extremely therapeutic for me though, and keeps me off my phone :) In short, it was 3 bucks, I enjoyed receiving a mystery color, and I favor this over some of my pricier yoyos. What more can I say? Edit 1 week later- I can longer recommend this yoyo. I was going to grab another one because it was so cheap and hope for a new color, but they're $10 now! I would recommend something better at that price point. $3, sure. Definitely not for $10. My yoyo is also completely blue now btw, with only shadowy reminents of once was screenprinted.

Given as a gift, nice item

This was my first yoyo decades ago and I could do so many tricks. I bought one for my kid to try and it won't spin at all. Just bounces right back up. Shame. Ended up having to buy another yoyo for tricks. This is now truly a beginner yoyo - just up and down. For the price not worth it. You can buy an up and down yo yo at the dollar store.

I have had several Duncan imperial yo-yos over the years. This one just didn’t cut it. After only thirty minutes of rockin the cradle, around the world and walking the dog the string broke. It’s wasn’t a quality string. This might be be a knock off

This is a classic Duncan Imperial, you know what you are getting if you had one back in the day. It's not going to be a modern performance yoyo, but it's still definitely a fun time! Don't get me wrong, there's plenty you can do with it, but you're not gonna get the long sleeps and string tricks that you can with others these days. As a beginner it'll help, it's fantastic to learn the essentials and the basics, or even something that can easily come back into the hand for a younger player. Really takes me back in my mind, lots of nostalgia with this design. Still great for looping tricks, and quick regens. Highly recommended, just for the history alone, and when you're looking for something quick, easy, and with almost no maintenance needed.

Its a Yo yo.. When you wear the bearings out on your fidget spinner a Yo Yo is a great replacement. Brings back child hood memories of walking the dog and killing time just Yo-Yo-ing. Great Quality and great times.
