Marcy Air-Resistance Exercise Fan Bike With Dual Action Handlebars

This bike works great. Easy to assemble and move around. Make sure you buy a bike seat cushion along with it, though. I am 6'3" and was about 250lbs and I don't feel like it as about to break underneath me. I purchased it back in May 2022. I use it about 5 minutes a day due to a car accident at the end of June and torn meniscus. I am building up to longer times. Currently, I am down 12lbs.The only downside is that there is no tension control, so I alternate 30secs normal and 30secs just legs as fast as I can. Great workout! Have yourself a can of WD-40 when putting it together to hit the stiff parts and chain. It is well worth the money!29 Oct 2022:I finally figured out the tension control. It has to be screwed in quite a bit for it to work. I would stop and unscrew it to see it there was any difference, thus defeating the purpose. I know it seems like it doesn't work, but keep screwing it in! Once it kicks in it works just fine. Now, I can start to take my workouts to the next level.

I got it put together but at my age, 73, I should have had my helper come over to give me a hand. A couple of hints: put the back stabilizer on first and then use the seat riser as a block under the frame near the front to rise up the bracket for the front stabilizer so the front stabilizer will bolt on easily. The rollers on the front work great on flat surfaces but it is still pretty hard for me to move it over carpet, (that helper thing again).It is actually worth the effort to put it together because it is a great old man low impact cardio machine. I manage about 1 mile each session and I can feel my body saying, "This is what I want". It's a good little machine and well worth the cost and the effort.

I found the bike difficult to assemble alone. I got help and we got it together. It is very stable and seems like good quality. My only complaint is the seat is not padded enough and is not comfortable.Is there another seat that is more padded?

My 91 year old dad loves it. He put it together alone in about 5 hours over 2 days. Suggesting a rug underneath. It tends to travel easily.

My first day of riding was Sunday. Was very excited to get this as it completes my home workout area, so right after work on Saturday I put it together.I'm taking off 1 star for assembly. The bike does come with all the nuts, bolts, screws, and tools to assemble, however the design of the tools makes them a bit unwieldy. I ended up using a pair of crescent wrenches in place of the included wrenches, and the combination hex wrench and screwdriver that the bike comes with.The bike works well, solid enough construction and everything works. I did, however, take off a second star for one flaw in the construction. The handle bars connect to the pedals with a metal arm that runs from the pedals to the handle bars where it is secured with a single nut and bolt. The assembly for the left handlebar refuses to stay tight. Over all not a huge deal, but I have to tighten it every morning before my ride. The only other assembly problem I had is with the bar that the front of the bike sits on. There are two small wheels on either end of this bar and these were not lined up properly. This piece comes in the package preassembled and looks just like a straight bar with caps at either end. The wheels are built into the caps. The problem is pretty easy to fix, each cap is held to the end of the bar with a small screw. Simply remove the screw and twist the cap until the wheel is lined up right. You want them lined up so that when the bike is assembled and you lift the back to a comfortable carrying height, the two wheels contact the floor.So far I've put about 25 miles on it, and will update if more problems come up.

Thought I give it a try based on decent reviews and low price, so even if it isn’t good it wasn’t expensive. But never got to even try it out as the bike had broken pieces at delivery on the bike frame itself. The package included a notice to not contact the store you bought it from but instead contact Marcy directly. But when I contacted them they basically said we can’t help you. So I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement so I can swap the bike frame. But when the replacement came, the exact same part on the frame was broken. It was the plastic part that controls resistance. That lead me to believe that it is a common problem. So I sent both bikes back to Amazon for a refund (what a hassle). So I ended up just buying a Schwinn Airdyne RD7 that is super well made and solid all around (it is worth the high price).

Update::: added a picture! And I want to let u know I still love it and I use it everyday! My kids use it too! It is great and I have hit my daily workout goals as I always have the option to take on this bike and just watch tv and workout or just warm up before lifting. I am happy with it!My prior review:::..bought this since I am working out from home due to social isolation measure for coronavirus prevention. So I just put mine together and I was initially dreading the idea of doing it so. But I was so wrong, opened the box and boom took barely one hour to get it ready!!!! Amazing!The pieces came well labeled (screws and parts) and the parts were easy to assemble. You just basically have to screw the handles, the pedals, the seat and then attach the holder and the monitor.I tried and it was a great workout just as I do with trainer at gym. I absolutely love it.Be aware that it says weight limit is 250lbs so if you’re above this won’t be a fit. Since that’s not the case for me, I think it’s a nice purchase and addition to my home gym. Love it!

I highly recommend this bike. It was easy to put together. Most of the working parts of the fan and bike chain etc are pre assembled. . It’s very quiet. The tension works well and I haven’t put the tension on the maximum setting. The box arrived in a few days time. I love that you get arm exercise at the same time as you peddle. Wear running shoes when you use it or your arches will get sore. The bike instructions recommend you wear runners and now I understand why. Wear shoes. The seat is comfortable. It’s very well priced. I have mine set up in front of my Tv so it’s easy for me to hop on anytime. I won’t go to a gym so this is a great option for me to move more. I love it.

Neat and tidy looking. I use it for gentle exercise.

My neighbor wanted this to help her lose some quarantine extra pounds since going to the gym may not be safe. It doesn't take up a lot of room in her apartment and having it right there motivates her to use it . She has MS and likes that it's easy to munt and it works the arms as well as the legs. One side of the bike handle keeps falling off but it's easy to put back on. This part came assembled from the factory. I tightened it up with my own wrench and so far, so good. She loves it, so ar.
