Nice boat, looks like a pro level boat at the lakeside.
There's nothing cheap about this boat. The frame is large, at least 1 inch tubing. Everything seems to be powder coated. Frame pieces line up and pins drop in without rubber mallet smacking. I can't even say that about my Port-a-Bote. (Since sold) I needed to keep a mallet with it to get seats etc. to line up. None of that crap with this boat. The heavy nylon pontoon covering removes with large sleeping bag type zippers. Lots of storage pockets with large zippers. My first time out, I launched next to a guy with a RIB boat, and his obviously expensive boat had the same inflate/deflate valves. He borrowed my double action pump because his foot pump was too slow, and the same fitting worked in his boat's valves.I read other reviews talking about adding a swivel seat piece, and it's very easy. (I ordered the swivel piece along with the boat) The 1st time out though was irritating because I used whatever hardware I had on hand. The wingnuts will leave holes in your fingers, standard bolts spin and don't get tight enough. The photos show version 2.0 of the seat adjustment. I used carriage bolts in the swivel part because the square head section prevents spinning of the bolt, and the large handles of the thumb knobs makes tightening/loosening magnitudes easier. The knobs are Ace Hardware 1/4 x 20 thumb screws which are about $4.50 each. The swivel is attached to the seat with #14 x 1.5" screws. Note that this was all well worth it, as A) You really need a seat swivel to spin and reach things in the cargo basket, and B) adding cargo, trolling motor, ice chest, whatever, changes the balance of the boat, so you need frequent seat adjustments. (For each trip out on the water)It tracks nicely, much better than the Tote-n-Float rubber raft I had years ago. If you row backwards and but some pull into the oars, you can keep up with a kayak, so it does move along easy. I row forward 98% of the time. And those oars. The tubing is about 1/8" thick, these are NOT toy boat oars. There are double locking knobs. The only thing that I might change later is adding pin lock type oar locks so I don't have to get the paddles up vertical and then keep them that way while rowing. That will mean drilling the oar tubing though, and that's a maybe. Here's a caveat about small pontoon boats, and one I didn't think about before getting one. I consider it to be a "death grip" boat. As in keep a death grip on your binoculars, camera, tackle box, cellphone, knife, can of pop/beer, satellite communicator, (Inreach Explorer, you NEED one of those!) or whatever else you have out and are handling while out in it. You are on a seat in open water, feet on pegs like a motorcycle. You drop something in water more than a few inches deep and it's not shiny and easy to see in the mud, or if it doesn't float, it's gone. I repeat, it's GONE. There's nothing underneath you and/or your seat, there's no floor, the mesh thing directly under the seat won't catch it unless you're really lucky. One last thing, I've read bad reviews about this "problem" too: keep a close eye on the air pressure. My motorcoach, with 120 PSI commercial 11R22.5 truck tires changes all the time. (TPMS on the dash) They can be 15% higher on the sun side of the coach while traveling on the freeway. They lose it when the temp drops overnight to the point alarms go off on the TPMS. (The TPMS and I have a love/hate relationship) The pontoons are low pressure and very sensitive to temp changes. Leave them "soft" until you actually put it into the water and head out. Leave them soft if you're heading to the water with an assembled boat in the back of your truck. When out on the water, If the sun gets to them and/or you move into warm shallows, you may have to let them out a little. NEVER leave the shore without your air pump. (Kind of goes without saying though)

Excellent Fishing Boat
From opening the box to assembly completed: 1.25 hrs. Assembly was easy and instructions were well written. All materials have high quality feel. Pontoons have bladder already installed. I purchased the K-Pump separately and it works well. Would recommend purchasing a better anchor. I did. Had maiden voyage today. Realized my rowing needs practice. After being on the water for a day, there are adjustments required for exact seat, ore stop, and ore holder locations but, had a great time! Fought against winds and some small white caps at the lake today. The boat did great and felt stable the entire time! To transport, I disconnected the seat/rack section, strapped pontoons in truck bed and the other parts fit easily in truck cab. Had to walk about 100' to shore. Easy walking the parts and had it back together in minutes. Plenty of room for a small cooler and fishing gear with room to spare on the rack and the pockets. Get some bungees. Highly recommend this boat to a person who wants to mosey around, get into tough to access areas, or just have a leisurely time on the water. In short, this is a sweet boat for a fun day at the lake! Looking forward to taking her to other lakes and rivers!

Great little Pon-"TOON" boat !
ordered mine may 3rd, selected free shipping. since i live not far from the amazon warehouse - and classic accessories home base.It arrived two days later, wasnt expecting it for 5 to 10 days, since i wasnt in a big hurry it was a surprise that i got it so fast.plus it was on sale for $349.00, they've gone back up to 499.00 ... wow !this one doesnt have a wheel, the xt model does. i went to classic's website and ordered one from them for $45.then i went to the local sportsmans warehouse and got a swivel for the seat for 10 bucks !THIS LITTLE BOAT ROCKS !Ive had it out a few times on some of the small lakes in my area, and one that is full of stumps called Lake Kapowsin.i put a 30lb thrust electric trolling motor on it , on hi it almost seems like a person could water ski behind it, you cant but you get the idea !it has no keel so its not easy to row in a straight line and the motor requires a person to constantly adjust the steering.this little "toon" is highly manuverable !but hey ! these were originally ment for floating a river, i havent yet but give it time and i will.today i took it up to one of the high lakes you can drive to near stampede pass.(yeah , i live in the seattle tacoma area)made a few laps around the lake with no problems, (see the pic i uploaded).you dont sit in the water but your feet will get wet at the shore during launching and beaching.or unless you just feel like dangling your toes in the water ?this "toon" dissembles and will fit in the trunk of your car or - of course - it'll fit in the back of a pickup !storage is a snap - inflating is easy, read the instructions and just figure it out !any good air mattress inflator either 12 volt or an AC type will work, but get a hand pump kind cuz the others wont put enough pressure past the check valve to do any good. i partly inflate mine at the house then 'top' it off at the lake with a manual hand pump, their only about $15 bucks.ive got all three - a 12 volt , an AC type and a hand pump.

EXCELLENT Boat
Disclaimer: I work for a "major outdoor retailer" and sell the "XT" version of this pontoon...I purchased THIS version on Amazon because the price was -way- better than what I could purchase it for through my employer.Disclaimers aside, I've sold dozens of these pontoons and based on (my) customer feedback decided to purchase one for myself. I could not be any happier with the quality and performance of this boat. In it's price point there is simply not another pontoon that will compare. Whether I'm using the oars, "kicking" the boat with flippers or using my 30# electric trolling motor the boat performs quite well. It is very easy to assemble and disassemble (less than 10 minutes either way) and it is light enough for this old guy to haul 50 feet down to the water. I did make one modification (so far) and that was to replace the (non-swivel) seat that comes with the boat and install a regular boat seat with a swivel...which makes for a much more comfortable day on the water. If you read the reviews for this boat on Amazon (and other) websites you will occasionally see a negative review and typically the issue involves the valves. As someone who sells these boats I can -promise- you that the majority of the issues people have with the valves are the result of people over inflating the pontoons beyond the recommended 2.5 pounds of pressure. I have also seen one or two reviews critical of the customer service provided by Classic Accessories. All I can say in that regard is that I have had the opportunity to call them several times on behalf of my customers and they have -always- been friendly, accommodating and efficient.

Good Value and performance for the money.
Overall, a good product.Pros: Very stable. Floated Class 3 rapids in Flaming Gorge (not recommended by manufacturer, but held up well.) Easy to maneuver and control. Easy to assemble and inflate and disassemble for one person. Also easy to re-inflate by mouth (forgot to pack hand pump in boat) after loss of pressure in cold water (which is normal). Once re-inflated no loss of air at all after a 7 hour float. Easy to row in heavy currents and tracks very well. Lots of storage. Fits perfect in bed of full sized pickup. Very comfortable to sit in for hours on the water. Oars and oar locks help up well in the rapids with heavy pressure from rowing.Cons: Unit is heavy to transport unassembled due to steel frame. (awkward and weighs roughly 80 lbs.) Recommend to upgrade to a swivel seat with heavy duty mounting plate and fasteners. Seat that comes with it is ok for leisure rowing and smooth water but don't lean back in seat hard if you're over 200 lbs. Seat studs will pop out of seat stripping the threading in the hole mounts of the plastic seat. This happened to me when I dropped a piece of trash in the water and tried to quickly retrieve it. Leaned back real quick and one of the front corner studs popped out. Will have to see how it holds up over time. So far, very satisfied with performance on the water.

Excellent pontoon...
Let me begin by saying that this is the second Classic Accessories Colorado pontoon that I have purchased. I have had my first Colorado pontoon for many years now and have had zero problems with it. I am so pleased with it that I am purchasing this second one as a backup (my original is many years old now and beginning to show signs of wear that you would expect from years of unscrupulously dragging over rocks, etc...). At this price, I couldn't resist picking up this second boat for future use. I also like the idea of having a second pontoon, so that friends who don't own their own boat can join in on float trips.I have taken my Colorado pontoon on several rivers, both in Kentucky and Tennessee. It is well suited for larger rivers, as well as smaller streams. I use it most frequently on the Cumberland River in Kentucky. This is a large tailwater river, with occasional swift water depending on releases from the dam. I am completely comfortable floating this river in my Colorado pontoon. I am a big guy, and this boat is more than adequate to keep me completely out of the water. I often keep a loaded cooler on the rear wire rack. I do not, however, use a trolling motor, so I can't speak to the problems mentioned in other reviews concerning problems putting a trolling motor and battery on the boat. Unlike some other reviews, I have not found this boat to be cheaply made. Quite the opposite. I find that the frame and pontoons are composed of high quality materials, especially compared to friends' boats which are made of less quality components - e.g., smaller diameter metal tubing and thinner nylon pontoon covers. I have had zero problems with leakage, and the valves have been solid. I highly recommend this boat.

Stable , fun and comfortable
These are great little river boats. Super stable and fun especially when using a trolling motor. I wish the company hadnโt stopped making them because parts will be hard get soon

I LOVE THIS THING!
I had tried a kayak, and just didnโt have the balance for it, so I bought this pontoon. I LOVE IT!!! It was super easy to assemble, and using a hand pump, it only took maybe 2 minutes to fill with air. I then took it to the lake to see how it would go. Super easy!! Completely stable, easy to navigate, and very comfortable. Iโm a bigger personโalmost 6 ft and not thin. That wasnโt an issue at all! The feet rests are adjustable so I was able to set them at a length that was comfortable for me. The boat seat is super comfy. I was able to set the oars at a distance that allowed them to be moved out of my way while I cast my fishing pole. It doesnโt have a โfloorโ, which to me, is a plus. My heels are always in the water, which keeps me cool on hot days. If itโs really hot, I just drop my feet from the foot rests, and my legs can hang in the water up to my calves. Again, thatโs a plus for me! And, even when I let my legs hang down, the pontoon is still perfectly balanced. Iโve had it to the lake several times, and have even taken it down the river. Maneuvering through shoals wasnโt an issue. As far as transporting it, when assembled, it fills a full-size Chevy truck bed. When my husband and I want to go to the lake together, we load his kayak first, then disassemble my pontoon. I put the seat and platform into the back seat of our truck, and the two inflated pontoons are placed in the bed of the truck with his kayak. When we get to lake, it takes only maybe 3 minutes to reassemble my pontoon using 6 pins. Again, I love this thing! I highly recommend it!!

Fishing Craft
The only thing I would say is it would be nice to have had a second rod holder included. Other than that, this is an excellent fishing boat with lots of pockets and easy to assemble.

Great little boat for the money
I've had this for about 3 weeks now and have it pretty much customized for the way I like to fish. Very stable in the water. There are a few minor gripes like the lack of oar rests but it was easy to fabricate up a set. Very quick to set up and take down. One problem I had on initial set up was getting the one of the foot rests to insert into the tube on the seat frame, it was very tight. The weld penetration on the seat frame tube caused a bump inside the tube. I had to take a die grinder to knock down the bump and it fit fine after that - but issues like this could be a problem for people without access to the right tools. Overall I think I got my money's worthUpdate. I've had this 2 years now and still love it. I've done quite a few modifications since then and I'm not done tweaking it yet. I'm fortunate enough to live in a area where I have access to dozens of small lakes. There are very few places I can't take this thing and its compact enough that I can just keep it in the car all summer.
