VOLIVO 25FT LED Strip Lights for Bedroom RGB Color Changing

This is terrific Lighting & can be used for many projects. It does come with its own Remote but also can be controlled through an App that is free on your smart phone. Easy installation. I used it to light up my cove lighting in a kitchen. I plan to buy more of this product for some other lighting projects. The tape lighting can be shortened if need be. The Colors & Bright White/Cold Light if needed is accurate. Some lighting only gives you warm options but this gives you everything. I would say the only negative of this product is the AC Power Adapter cord is short but simple running a power cord solves that problem. Still, great product. Fair price too.

This is the third tone I’ve installed something like these for my kids. The first time with this brand. We got them all strung up and plugged them in to find out they didn’t work. Next time I’ll test them first lol send this one just might be defective? They are pretty simple to plug in. I gave three starts bc they are allowing us to return them but don’t deserve less than three. I don't want to hurt their rating too much just bc of one defective product.

I loveeee these lights since they’re great quality for their price. I needed some help to get them up since I couldn’t reach where I wanted to put them, but I’ve had no problems at all with the strips falling or lights not working. I got the app as well and I really like how I have more color options to choose from. I haven’t tried to connect the lights to music yet, but I honestly just use them to make my room look cute. I think I’m going to get another one of these to fully line my room since I didn’t measure beforehand.

Second update, both sets I own have stopped working, avoid these at all costs * update* Customer service attempted to resolve to issue and sent a new product. This one used the tuya smart app and has worked great. I bought two of these that had the same issues. I asked if they would send another one that used the tuya app, they said they would but sent one that used the bad apollo app. I wrote them again after giving the new one on to apollo app a try stating it didn't work. They replied with an Amazon link to buy the controller that costs as much as the whole light kit. Overall I was impressed at first but am now extremely unsatisfied. I'd recommend another brand Led are nice and bright, install was easy. However the app/ wifi control needs major help. I have them set up as night lights for my kids, set to come on at 830pm and shut off at 630am. However I find that it does not turn on half the time or shut off at the designated time. I have to open the app and turn on/ shut off manually. I also find that they randomly turn on during the day.

The lights seem adequate. They work with the included controller, and with a tasmota controller I have to integrate them with my Home Assistant. Each LED is not as bright as my TPLink branded light strip, but close enough. The thing is, the specs specifically say "300" light sources. I chose this over the other cheap import strips because it said 300, so relatively closely spaced LEDs. I would expect one LED per inch to make 300 total. The LEDs are 2.125 inches apart. That's 5.64 LEDs per foot, or 141 LEDs total. Less than half what was advertised. So, they work, but they aren't as advertised. I'd suggest choosing a different brand.
