this is a great pool cue but my question is can I buy another shaft to go with my Pathline that I already have?

This is a quality pool stick. Don't be fooled by the low price. I've had low priced cues all the way up to thousands of dollars. The workmanship is impressive and The comfort fit, grip area and feel of it is fine. If you're looking for a couple extra cues to have than these are perfect. The design is nice too. I've used it for a few months consistently and it hasn't shown any type of wear.

First stick I got was junk. The design was bubbling and lifting on the butt (you should be able to see that in the first pic). The shaft was also VERY warped. Took a shot and got a replacement which is perfect. Cue is nice, shoots well, feels sturdy after a few rounds (new one is in the second pic). I will definitely be picking up another. I am by no means a pro player, I just play for grins pretty often and wanted my own stick because the house cues I use are pretty beat up. If you get a bad one give it another try and use your free exchange. Also, a lot of reviews are talking about how the shaft isn't finished all the way. This is pretty common on cues that aren't in a rack at a pool hall. It is not a defect. Wood is nice and smooth, too. Very easy to shoot.

I plan on replacing the tips with better ones. If you break withers the tips will flatten. But for a house, 2 pc cue they are great. I can run a rack with these just as accurately as with a high dollar cue. The balance is good. The handles are smooth. I did remove more of the lacquer with 220 grit giving the shaft a longer smooth area.

I haven't played much pool in a few years. I used to play a good bit and had a couple sticks that were decent. This is on par with what I remember. Much nicer than the "house sticks" that seem to be so common. I bought the 21 oz stick because breaking is nice with a heavy stick. The stick I got was straight. The front of the stick came very smooth and matte, so I didn't have to sand it. Also the tip was nice and domed and textured so that it would take chalk. It does seem to dent pretty easy, but I carry it around pretty often so it might just be due to some slight abuse. Would recommend a case/bag if you want to travel with it. I've probably played dozens of games and the tip is holding up rather well. Over all I'm pleased with it.
