Probably helped save my budgie's life!!
UPDATE: If you select the 5lb. bag in Super Fine size, you'll actually receive the larger Fine size. The image shows the Fine, but the size selection says Super Fine. There doesn't appear to be a way to order Super Fine in a more economical 5lb. bag (and it turns out that the company doesn't even offer it!), and I'm really annoyed at not having the food for my birds that I expected to have. One of my six budgies (aka parakeets) was recently sick with a fungal infection for over a month, which causes a lot of weight loss. Although I hadn't had much luck with offering my flock trial amounts now and then of friends' Harrisons' pellets in the Adult Lifetime Fine variety, I figured it was worth the expense to try to get my sick guy to eat some of the High Potency blend, with the extra calories and nutrition, as it could be a factor in his ability to survive the illness and treatment, and I was willing to try just about anything. I got this extra-small pellet size because it's close to the size of millet grains, and started by mixing a little in with the crushed Nutri-berries and with the fruity Zupreem pellets (x-small) he was already eating a bit of, but he didn't seem to be going for it. After a few days I started offering the Harrison's in its own dish alongside the others, and before I knew it, he was frequently choosing it over even his favorite Nutri-berries! So I switched fully to the Harrison's for his pellets and removed the Zupreem at that point. Now, he's fully recovered, and I'm so thrilled! I hadn't had much hope my sweet little guy would make it, and I strongly suspect that these pellets, along with a very warm, clean environment and lots of rest, were instrumental. Several of the other birds have eaten some of the Harrison's too now after seeing him enjoy it. Woohoo! I've just ordered the 5-lb. bag, and plan to do the 6-month regimen with the whole flock, after which I can hopefully transition them to the Adult Lifetime blend. This brand is on the expensive side, but the quality of the organic ingredients and the reduction of waste makes it worth the cost, and probably even less expensive than a cheaper diet in the long term when you factor in vet bills! If your birds won't eat it, try a smaller size; try mixing it with their favorite foods; try leaving a dish of it in the cage in their favorite spot at all times, and only offering their other food for a shorter time morning and evening. I think once you get them to try it, they realize it's good and want to eat it.

Harrison’s is the BEST bird food (IMHO)
My dove has always had this food. I have to order it quite a bit earlier than when I estimate I will run out as it usually takes quite a bit of time to arrive (even when it says it will be here next week, the delivery date will always be delayed). However, the food is fresh and my bird is healthy and the price is competitive with a local vet whose stock is always hit or miss.

My birds liked it from the very first day
My two budgies started eating these pellets as soon as gave it to them. I regularly feed them the highest quality seed mix I can afford, supplemented with fresh veggies, sweet potato, organic pumpkin seeds, hemp hearts, millet, and super grains like red and white quinoa. I trust this brand as being high quality and I wanted to add these pellets to try to help with loose poop issues in one of my birds. I didn’t expect my little boys to go for the unfamiliar texture and taste, but they surprised me! I’m so happy they like this healthy new food! Between these pellets and some pre and probiotics I’ve just added, the little poopy bird is already improving. Thank you!

High quality pellets
I followed the recommended introduction of this food for my tiels and they seems to almost prefer it. I am switching from a seed diet to a better food after a lot of research highly recommend just wish the price was a little lower but the quality and the ingredients almost make it worth it.

The SUPER food for all companion birds
I've been raising cockatiels for several decades; and, there are three things that always worry me: 1) The fact that parrots are expert at hiding maladies and injuries until they become very severe 2) The serious dearth of Board-certified Avian Veterinarians (ABVP) 3) The over-abundance of vet 'dabblers', who know how to clip a bird's wings, and market themselves as 'exotic-bird experts' (if they aren't ABVP, they aren't Avian vets!) With an hour's drive to my nearest ABVP, it's important that I do everything in my power to keep my birds healthy..., and that starts with Harrison's Bird Foods. Developed by one of the world's top Avian Vets, and the only bird foods made in a 'human' cereal processing plant, where they are subject to the highest level of purity and quality control. When weaning a bird onto a pellet diet, I start with Harrison's High Potency for the first 6 months. This super-charged food provides increased amounts of nutrients and boost every aspect of the bird's health. After 6 months, you switch the birds over to Harrison's Lifetime. This is how I became aware of Harrison's pellets: I had a cockatiel who had plucked all the feathers from under her wings for 6 months; so, I took her to one of the aforementioned 'exotic bird experts'. He looked at her for 90 seconds, diagnosed the plucking as the parrot "...having a new hobby..." and charged me $85.00. I then took her to an ABVP, who tested her droppings, gave her a detailed examination and diagnosed her as suffering from malnutrition (Hartz seed mix) and a yeast infection. He prescribed the Harrison's High Potency for her nutrition, and medicine for the infection. After 3 months, she became calm, stopped plucking, and became a happy, healthy little girl. I find that small parrots (cockatiels, conures, etc.) prefer the smaller size of the Super Fine (it looks like seeds). But, there is an appropriate size for your bird. If you love your bird companion, and want to ensure that they are as healthy as can be, then you owe it to yourself to get them on Harrison's.
