This vent works fine with a little customizing. My ductwork is 1" which is too thick for the 4 fins to grab onto and hold it in place. In addition to this, there is a black ring preventing it from mounting flush. I used a box cutter and cut the black ring off. I then caulked it in place and it is now flush mounted.

These replaced old metal air diffusers. Perfect fit, whisper quiet compared to the metal units. Only thing: Tabs on these hold diffuser against inside of 8” vent pipe, be prepared to secure with self tappers, as they do slide down if not secured. Great buy here!

Perfect for a small bathroom

They are good quality. Needed for a small project.

I added this to a 6” hvac duct. It comes with 3 fins to mount to the inside of the ductwork. Although a good design, I easily snapped the fins off and screwed the diffuser extension directly into the ductwork which worked well. The disc that forms the diffuser is easily adjustable and does an excellent job is dispersing air throughout the space.

We have an open ceiling in our basement. No place to screw in a typical diffuser. This was so easy to install and it look great. Just pop it in and done. Adjustable so you can control the air flow.

It works but it's not a true 8" I tried to fit an 8" fan on it and it slides inside the fan.The vent itself looks nice and fits well in the ceiling white tiles and it's as easy as cutting a hole in the ceiling tile.I have so much air coming through I had to take off the diffuser and let it come straight out.

It would not stay in a standard metal duct and the white vent would not stay in the tube part of the vent....had to drill and screw it in and it looks a bit hacked unlike if the white part had predrilled holes.
