I bought because I went on vacation. And I put it on the door and I felt really secure. Knowing that no one could come in Is an excellent product. I highly recommend you have peace and security why you are in your room at night..alone. Very easy to install.

As a public school teacher, I have recently not felt very safe in my classroom. I ordered this for both of my classroom doors. I have carpet in my room. These door stoppers work INCREDIBLY well. I put them down and used my full body weight to try and open the door. The door would not budge. These stoppers make me feel MUCH safer and are very easy to use. They fit under the door beautifully.

This did not stop my abuser from breaking in. It took little effort to push past it and bend the metal enough to get the door open. I bought this for safety and it was useless. I had it as tight as it would go against the door and thought I was safe. I should have never put my safety in the hands of this flimsy device!

Great product. Very well made. Easy to use. No need to assemble. I am a travel nurse and I carry this with me wherever I go. It gives me a sense of security as a solo female traveler. Also does not weight a lot, you can put this in your bag/carry on and you won’t feel like it’s taking a lot of space.

NOTE THIS PRODUCT ONLY WORKS ON DOORS WITH GAPS NOT! ON YOUR HOME DOORS - guess that is why it's titled "apartment hotel".....but I would think apartment doors avoid gaps also as do home doors? = does not work on a single door in our home.

I don't understand why Amazon keeps having me review items I've already reviewed. This is getting old real fast! Amazon get your act together. As I said in the first review I got this for my wife who travels a lot. It does keep the door closed when she said hotels.

Maybe I just received a duff one but after trying in 3 (three) different door frames, I was disappointed with it’s ability to securely make a snug and secure fit on uncarpeted flooring. Maybe not intended for such surfaces but I failed to notice such a caveat in the product description/use nor did it come with such an accessory for multiple types of surfaces. The throw itself to lock the device securely seemed to be lacking in different scenarios. I was disappointed with my purchase.
