I should of paid attention to the manufacturer. This skin hook is very small for what I had intended. It would be used more for gum tissue. I have a flock of chickens and ducks. The ducks are always hurting their feet. Instead of paying $120 at the vet, I've learned that if the duck gets bumble foot just open it up and get the pus out with some firm pressure. I wanted a skin hook to hold the skin back so I could flush the pocket. Other than not the size I wanted, it is a very well manufactured and sturdy tool. I will keep it because I feel you just can't to many instruments at your disposal when accidents or illnesses happen.
