Pure Encapsulations Metabolic Xtra is a high-quality supplement that feels very well formulated. It combines ingredients like berberine, chromium, alpha lipoic acid, and resveratrol, which are commonly used to support healthy glucose and metabolic function. The capsules are easy to take and don’t cause any stomach discomfort for me when taken with meals. I also like that it’s a clean, hypoallergenic formula with no unnecessary fillers.

After years of trying different approaches to weight loss and metabolic health, I was frustrated and felt like nothing worked for my body. I’m postmenopausal and have insulin resistance, which made everything more challenging. I have not noticed any difference in how I feel taking the Encapsulation Metabolic Xtra. My guess is that I will need to take a for a few more months to see results. The ingredients are impressive and the cost seems reasonable considering the ingredients in this as compared with other brands. I can’t say that I have experienced any side effects. It does seem to improve my sleep if I take it in the evening. I will say that the pill size is a little larger than I prefer, but not terrible. I did not taste anything negative about the pill. I will come back to add to my review in after a few more months so I can better evaluate its effectiveness.

Used this in conjunction with inositol from pure encapsulations (take the inositol in the morning every day, and metabolic extra just before meals). For PCOS, it really helps balance blood sugar and help with insulin resistance. I noticed over the course of a summer, all the weight I carried in my belly had decreased significantly. I lost a few pounds, but there was visible change in my waist/belly.

I was taking most of these ingredients in separate supplements, which can get expensive. I like Pure Encapulations products so I decided to give these a try. I take 2 a day with one capsule of (500 mg) cinnamon. It has made a significant difference in my levels. It did not work overnight. It was a slow and steady improvement. After 3 months of taking these 2x daily...I'm better than where I "need" to be. Supplements, no matter how good, don't work for everyone the same way. I know these are expensive and you have to take them a few months to see results... but I can say they worked for me and now another family member is trying them.

I research all suppiments I take, These had good reviews both by medical and consumer. I havent had any problems with them

Not sure I notice anything. No weight loss, not sure about energy increase.
