Spanish Vocabulary Flash Cards – 600 Words, Sentences & Pronunciation

I LOVE these cards! I am an advanced student but I am always looking for fun ways to stay motivated and to review. These cards are exactly as pictured in the ad. (There are photos in some reviews of older cards, but the set being sold is the one in the ad with Spanish on one side and English on the other.) The photos are engaging and the word selection is pretty good. There are occasional irregularities with the cards (very few) with colloquial Spanish ("podes" instead of "puedes", for instance) that will not be good for beginners (you will get it wrong on the test!), but only a couple. Overall, the cards are sturdy and correct and just plain fun!

I love that this set encompassed such a broad range of subjects and that the photos are real. As a visual learner, I find that these are so effective in helping me learn new words and retain them. As well, my two year old loves doing these flashcards with me! Her Spanish vocabulary has increased two fold since we started these cards. Personally, I feel that the real images appeal to her so much more then typical flashcards. She'll do these with me for 30 minutes or longer!

I like these cards, but there are some things you have to know when you buy them. For starters, the pronunciations listed are those from speakers of Spain and not Latin America. I found one spelling error regarding the Spanish word for knees. The pronunciation looked correct, but the word was missing a letter. The cardstock is very durable and professional looking with some great photos, lists, etc. My biggest complaint is that the English is listed alongside the Spanish. I'd much rather have to turn the card over for the English. I find myself trying, usually unsuccessfully, to cover the English translation as I rotate to each card. The words themselves are pretty accurate although there are some cases when the word they have chosen is not what I have heard used in Latin America. I expect all Spanish educational material will have this problem since every region has some language differences.

Fun design! Easy for children to use. Proper pronunciation. Good size box. Worth every penny!

Excellent cards in every way: good design, good graphics, strong/laminated/thick surfaces. I've learned a lot from this set.

Great to have if you want to teach Spanish. Plenty of words to learn.

I enjoyed the 300 card box, so i ordered this 600 card box as a next step. I can't tell exactly yet, but about a third of the cards so far are the same from the 300 box. After a box of 300 cards and a box of 600 cards, i will know 600 words. I also find it annoying that the author of these cards picked words that i don't think anybody will use on a regular basis. My tutor, a native speaker, has never used about 5% of the words. In my opinion, there are more important words to learn in my first 600 words than coin purse or worm

Excellent product by far exceeded expectation. Good quality vocabulary cards. Flash cards include a mix of verbs, prepositions, shapes, numbers and telling the time. Comes in sturdy box for keeping the cards.
