Glass or plastic top of percolator?

Plastic. One other disappointment is that the beautiful curve of the spout pictured is NOT the case. In trying to decide which percolator in this price range I wanted, I made my decision because of the beautiful shape of the spout and was SO disappointed to find that the spout has only a minimal curve to it and is generally straight. Sure wish the sellers would picture the ACTUAL item and not claim glass when it's plastic, or show elegant shapes where they do not exist.

Is the entire interior stainless including the bottom well? I ask because I almost bought a Presto until found out interior bottom well is aluminum.

In the description I believe it says all stainless steel interior, including the filter cup, and water tube. It all looks seamless and stainless inside. I too almost purchased a Presto. I did not want aluminum or plastic at all! I waited for like 3 weeks for this to become available for sale /in stock again and I really do love it

Why is it that none of the unhappy users of this pot mention their experience when they try to exercise the one year warranty?

Very simple answer: Because there is no way to exercise the one year warranty (that they actually state on the product page). I bought my percolator Oct. of 2022. I went to make coffee in it today (July 2023) and it does not turn on. When you click the hot link for support, a message pops up that says the product was last eligible for support on January of 2023. So…the pot lasted 10 months and quit and you cannot find any link or phone number to get support. Huge ripoff and I am going to hit social media to let others know how bad this company is. Buyer beware!
