These are pretty nice lightweight breathable shorts for the gym, and even for casual wear. The pockets are deep, you can definitely fit whatever you possibly need inside of them. The drawstrings are a bit too big, there’s quite the load of slack even when the waist is stretched out. The logos and fabric are pretty average in quality, but they hold up very well. My favorite part about these shorts definitely Hass to be the metal tips on the strings, at the base of the drawstrings, and the zippers. Other than that, these shorts fit well. They right above the knee and when stretching your legs, they come about halfway up the quads. If you don’t like high riding shorts when sitting down, definitely don’t buy these. In terms of sizing, the shorts are definitely fit true to size. The only complaint I have with these shorts is that the crotch area is a little on the less-roomy side. Besides that, they’re a great pair of shorts.

These workout shorts are amazing — thick, comfortable, and durable enough to feel almost like joggers. The material has a nice weight to it, so they don’t look like typical gym shorts, which means you can wear them just about anywhere. They’re perfect for training, running errands, or just lounging. The fit is flattering, and the quality stitching makes them feel built to last. If you want shorts that can double as casual wear while still being great for workouts, these are a win.

For reference, I have an athletic build 5'6" 148 and 32 waist. Usage 80% for the gym/20% casual use Fit: M - It was perfect for me - not too loose and not too tight Quality: Stretchy enough fabric to lift, run, and stretch. Good thing it has a liner, outer layer is slightly see through. It isn't the most durable material as others have mentioned. Do not put into dryer as care instructions say. I accidentally put it in once on low and didn't affect it, but having it thrown around can cause micro tears I'm sure (have been careful to not sit on anything rough like concrete to create more), BUT it has held up for the past couple of months and I'm sure will last quite some time as I only use it for the gym. There are some loose threads I had to cut off. Wasn't a fan of the HPYE logo, kind of tacky and carefully removed it. Given the price and how long it's held up with how often I've used it, 4 stars!

Good fit, appreciate the heft from the liner, and a nice touch, the extra long waistband laces (though I always add after-market lace clips to avoid the indignity of fishing them out after a vigorous tumble in the wash). But the sizes seem to be in inches when stretched. I’m a 31-32 waist in jeans and the Medium side were tight. XL was much more comfy and still a good fit. Not cutting off circulation on leg press. A plus. Will buy more sets. Love the army green in particular. These fit like the old non-booty short designs that YoungLA used to sell and tragically discontinued. Better price point too.

Ok. So these shorts are like omega level comfortable and they look amazing on. My complaint is they are cheaply made. The zip pocket broke on my first wear. Pockets do look a lot better zipped cause you don’t have flapping open pockets and the pants look more streamline. All in all I give these a 3 star rating because I’d buy them again but not at this price. For what you’re getting $10-$15 would be a more fair price. I might give the combo pack another chance and see if I just got a bad pair. If you’re a gym goer though these aren’t a bad buy. UPDATE: reason people are having zipper problem like I was is due to overlapping fabric. Make sure the extra fabric isn’t getting caught in the zipper lining. Fixed my problem.
