Covers bald spots, greying hair
Most excellent. I have cancer and where my hair is falling out at the crown it's embarrassing. Love that it covers that area and keeps me from feeling subconscious about my hair loss. Matches my hair color perfectly. L'Oreal rocks!

โIโm gonna SPRAY that gray right outta my hairโ๐ถ
MAGIC! โจ๏ธ๐ช I have a gray area right in front that is quite noticeable. I get highlights that do cover them up but THIS STUFF is wonderful! Pros: โquick spritz and grays are hidden! โdoes not make hair sticky or stiff like hairspray โgoes on evenly and blends really well โconvenient spray to cover lightly โperfect, quick fix for in between hair appointments! โno smell to it at all Cons: โvery slightly orange-y but still better than gray! โwish there were more color options This is a game changer! Love it! โค๏ธ I added the last photo of my hair the next day, before washing. It never wore off. I am very impressed with this product.

Great Root Cover
This is a very good product. It covers instantly and is easy to use. I have light brown hair and ordered the Dark Blonde. I found that it was just too dark for me. The next time I got the Light Golden Brown and that is a really good match for me. It really lasts, too. It will stay put until I wash it out. I don't use it to cover grey, but I'm thinning on top, and this is good for concealing the widening part. The one detractor I found is that it does leave the sprayed portion very dull, which looks a little odd next to shiny hair. I like this better than Great Hair Day, however I think it's a little expensive for the amount you get. There just isn't that much in one container, but it is a pretty good product. QUICK TIP: Just figured out how to fix the dull look. After applying the root cover, LIGHTLY spritz the area with a good conditioning spray. (I use Tweak'd by Nature's Restore spray.) Let it set for a few minutes, then brush. It brings back the shine and doesn't disturb the root cover.

Great product
It is perfect for covering the gray. Just make sure you get the right color. I would go a little darker if in doubt. It really helps me make it to my next hair appointment.

Extends Time Between Salon Visits and Looks Natural
This has become a staple in my beauty routine. It works exactly as advertised, covering gray roots quickly and blending naturally with my hair color. The dark blonde shade matches well and doesnโt leave an obvious line of demarcation. One unexpected bonus is that it gives the illusion of fuller, thicker hair at the roots. Itโs perfect for stretching the time between salon appointments and saving a little money in the process. Easy to apply, natural-looking results, and a real confidence booster between color appointments. Would definitely purchase again!

My go-to
I've tried tons of root coverage products, from similar sprays to powders. I always come back to this one. The dark blonde is the best match for my level 8 color with highlights. Doesn't make my hair feel dirty if I use it sparingly, and it lasts a few days. Doesn't rub onto my scalp.

Fair.
This root cover up works pretty well but not as well as the Rita Hazan root concealer that I've been using for several months. The dark blond shade of the Loreal product is pretty close to my color so that's not the issue. The problem is that it doesn't completely cover my silvery strands. The RH cover up not only covers the gray completely, it also blends my darker virgin color with the artificial blond shade so that my salt-and-pepper strands match perfectly with the dark golden blond of the rest of my hair. The Loreal cover up doesn't do the same thing, although it's close. Also, the RH product doesn't rub off on clothing or pillowcases but the Loreal concealer does. They both have the pointed nozzle and with both the spray can go on very cold, which is an unpleasant feeling. But this discomfort subsides in a few minutes. The Rita Hazan cover up is $25 for a smaller cannister so that's why I opted to try the Loreal product. For $10 and a larger can (by several ounces) it was worth a try. I will probably use up the Loreal cover up because I don't want to waste it, but I don't think I'll repurchase it. It simply doesn't stick to my gray and blend the darker virgin roots as well as RH. That said, it's a decent product for $10 but I might have done better if I had gotten the lighter blond shade. I don't mind darker roots, just not as dark as my level 5 roots. If the roots were a darker blond after using this spray, then that would be acceptable. All in all, this Loreal product just doesn't have the coverage of RH. So I guess I'm going to have to buy the Rita Hazan spray for $25 from now on, at least until I find something more reasonably priced that works with my hair color. I also tried Zotos from Sally's ($8) but the dark blond shade was way too warm (almost orange). If your hair is dark and can find a suitable match, the Zotos spray would be a better alternative than Loreal. I recommend this Loreal spray if you have just a little gray and are trying to match your darker virgin color. But if you're 80% gray on top like I am, it just doesn't work that well. I'm sticking with the Rita Hazan spray, which is not only a perfect match, but also doesn't rub off and stays put until I shampoo it out. With Loreal, I had to keep retouching the same area daily, which means that a $10 product is not that economical after all.

Great for postpartum hair loss
I used this to cover up balding patches from post-partum hair loss. Made me feel much more comfortable and covered perfectly. Great match to my hair colour as well. Will likely repurchase.

It works!
I was skeptical this would work, but it is absolutely amazing! Covers my greys in such a natural tone (I bought dark blonde). Only thing I am not wild about is the stiffer kind of feel my hair has in those areas I sprayed, but I can still style my hair as I want, and it lasted a couple of days until I shampooed. I am growing out my hair from blonde to my natural colour (dark blonde with some grey), and this will help with the transition nicely, I think, especially if I want a more glamorous look with hair pulled back for an evening out. Love that I have some fun, temporary options to get a little different look and feel with my hair.

Golden highlights
So I bought the dark blonde spray. I have almost platinum blonde and grey hair so I wanted a nice color to mix it up a bit. WOW !!! The color contrast is amazing !!! The color is like golden streaks that would have cost a small fortune at a salon. So there. Perfect !!!!!

magic root cover up
the colour matched well. But it does not work all the time. i press the nozzle to no avail. once out of 20 presses works. i am worried that it will explode if there is something wrong with it. But the colour works well UPDATE: The very nice person at Loreal gave me her suggestion to fix my problem, and it Worked! So I just want to thank this Loreal rep for her helpful suggestion. I would certainly order another when this one is finished.
