A bigger juicier raisin
Used these for Black Forest Cookies tonight. I had an idea of a cookie that was like the dove chocolate covered cherries from years ago. I wasn't sure if the sweetness of this brand of cherry would be good or if a tart cherry was needed. Right out of the bag, they are very sweet and taste a lot like raisins. They were very moist and had good chew in them. They didn't smell quite like cherries, but it wasn't offensive, just a dried fruit smell. Everything about pulling them out of the package gave indication that they were fresh and haven't been sitting around. Very sweet and chewy. It would be a good snack and my husband said he would've liked to see it in a fancy trail mix.I put it in the food processor to try and cut up the pieces and that is where a lot when wrong. They were so fresh and moist that they didn't chop, but turned into a ball of goo. I mixed them with mini chocolate chips and a few teaspoons of cocoa powder to try and break up the goo. It worked very well and helped hold up the cookies in the oven. I expected them to spread and fall apart but it kept them in firm sturdy pucks.Overall, I needed a little salt on top of the cookies to cut the sugar sweetness and richness of the dark chocolate. They were totally divine. My husband requested a cherry walnut cookie where the cherriesnare split just in half that I'm going to try to make tomorrow. I'll update hoe that goes!

A Monthly Subscription Item
A must for our weekly banana cookies topping. They puff up like marshmellows. Also, NO SUGAR. Tart seeded black cherries.

They are my fave dried cherries.
These are the best dried cherries. The only thing that would make them better is if this company came out with an organic version.I am willing to eat the pesticides though, thatโs how good they are. They are soft and moist and delicious. Also - if you eat a few of them after your meal, for dessert, you will satisfy your sweet tooth.(Excellent to keep yourself regular, fyi and TMI)MAKE THEM IN ORGANIC PLEASE!

Expensive but good!
Very good item. The dried cherries are plump and juicy/not dried all the way out. Not overly sugary either. Would buy again. 4 stars due to them being kind of expensive. Great packaging and shipping

FAVORITE!!!
My favorite go to sweet snack! Love adding to salads, rice crisps with peanut butter. Also so much moisture in these cherries and tons of flavor. Actually crave them. Awesome company with awesome people as well!

Sticky and prune-like
Texture reminds me more of prunes. Theyโre not dried like raisins or Cranberry Craisins. Sticky to the touch. I munch on trail mix sometimes as Iโm driving. These are too messy and sticky for that. I will definitely eat them in oatmeal or cereal.

More raisin than Cherry flavor
I'm a foodie and I love eating berries, trail mix, cherries etc and was looking forward to these as they were advertised no added sugar, but this ended up being a bit of a mixed experience for me.The texture was softer and much wetter than I expected. These felt sticky and almost syrupy straight out of the bag. I'm storing them in the refrigerator because they did not feel shelf stable for long periods to me. However, the biggest concern to me was the taste. I was expecting a sweeter cherry flavor, but these reminded me much more of raisins with a little sourness mixed in. There is a slightly earthy flavor as well that makes them taste more like cooked dried fruit than fresh cherries. They are not terrible, just different from what I was expecting from dried sweet cherries. That said, the fruit does seem fresh and it is certainly pricy. These would work better with baking or with oatmeal where the flavor blends with other ingredients. Eating them by themselves was not tasty enough. Also, there might be a pit fragments occasionally in the bag, so chew carefully. To conclude, I think this comes down to personal taste.
