Let's be honest. At a certain point in life, a man has to make a decision. Do you embrace the full "I buy my sneakers based on orthopedic recommendations" lifestyle, or do you make one last respectable effort to suggest that you may have been cool at some point? These sunglasses are that effort. They're comfortable, fit well, and look good without screaming, "Hey everyone, look how hard I'm trying to look young!" Which is important, because nothing ages a dad faster than trying too hard. I've always admired aviators on other people. Unfortunately, every time I've tried a pair on, I look less like a fighter pilot and more like a guy being questioned by airport security. These, meanwhile, strike the perfect balance. Modern enough to look good, practical enough for everyday wear, and subtle enough that nobody immediately assumes I'm having a midlife crisis. I've worn them driving, coaching kids' sports, running errands, and standing in the driveway pretending to understand whatever home improvement project I'm currently avoiding. Bottom line: Comfortable, stylish, and ideal for dads looking to project the image of a man who still has things under control. Whether that image is accurate is a separate discussion.

I bought these sunglasses as a gift for my husband and he loves them! They are sturdy, look great, and have amazing clarity. We ran into someone who had the same pair, and he said he sat on them and they were still good as new. Get em!

The lenses themselves are good quality and do a great job of reducing glare and providing full UV400 protection. However, the frame of the sunglasses feels a bit cheap and plastic-y. It is also quite light, which some may find uncomfortable or not sturdy enough. Overall, while the polarized lenses are good, I feel like the frame could be of better quality for the price. If you're looking for budget-friendly polarized sunglasses, these could be a good option, but if you're willing to spend a bit more, you may want to consider other brands with more durable frames.

Though I've had it for one day, it may not be enough to write a proper review and I'm happy to update my review after some time with the product. At first glance, the packaging seemed small. When taking the product out of the travel protective bag, it seemed small, almost like it was for kids. It is a bit small for my face but that is a preference. I love the color, I got the Olive green. The look and design are nice. The polarized lenses are nice, you can see well and it blocks the sun well. When using electronic devices such as a phone or laptop, the lenses almost blackout what you are looking at or have a sort of blue filter on it that takes time to adjust the eyes to. It also has a slight odor to it but that may just go away on its own. The weight is ok. I'm fair skinned so it does leave a significant mark on the bridge of my nose but as a result it also is not sliding off the face, they stay snug. All in all for the value, if you need to just an extra pair of glasses they may work but for "the pair" of glasses that are the preferred, these would not be it for me.

Nice looking sunglasses that appear to be well put together; I've found them to be excellent for sunny conditions, which is saying something since I just had cataract surgery last week. In fact, they may even be a bit too dark when it gets to be near dusk, but that's not an issue for me. What was a bit of an issue was that despite being the widest frame they make, they were a bit uncomfortably tight on my large noggin (size 8). That's where the outstanding customer service came in: I contacted Knockaround to ask if I could safely heat the arms to bend them a bit. They advised that this was not recommended, and instead offered me an exchange to a FortKnocks sunglass with a spring hinge that should work better. I can't wait to give them a try, and I want to give Knockaround a huge shoutout for making the offer. You just don't find that level of customer service very often!

I decided I wanted a new pair of affordable polarized glasses that would be good for summer water adventures, but wouldn't ruin my day if they're lost to the river. I looked all over Amazon for glasses in this price range and was having a hard time deciding, as many seemed to have bipolar reviews— some claiming they're great value, others claiming they're gas station quality glasses that aren't even polarized. Well luckily I saw Knockaround's new style of frame on here and it seemed to be exactly what I wanted. I've had some of their glasses before, so I trusted their quality. The amber lenses are perfect in my opinion; not too dark, not too light, and don't distort colors drastically. They're definitely polarized, light, and hold on to my head securely, but not uncomfortably tight, so very comfortable. Also, the style seems like a classic that can really go with anything. my girlfriend tried them on and they looked good on her too, so guy or girl, give em a shot.
