ENERLITES 2-Gang White Screwless Decorator Wall Plate Outlet Cover, 10 Pack

This is the second buy of these; I bought them a few years back to put in my living room I liked them so much, I'm now installing for my kitchen and a few bedrooms, they look very nice and hard to miss. They are unfortunately fingerprint magnets so they will require a good wipe down every once in a while if that bothers you. They fit perfectly for their sockets with no issues.

I had previously written a review of the Bestten Screwless Outlet Plates. Unfortunately, my experience installing them was extremely frustrating. I spent at least an hour trying to install a single Bestten outer plate, which ultimately proved impossible because the outlet itself was not perfectly flat. The design requires snapping a series of pins on the outer plate into slots on the lower plate, and even slight misalignment made installation incredibly difficult. After struggling with just one plate for over an hour, I gave up and returned them the next day. In the meantime, I came across the Enerlites Screwless Wall Plates and decided to give them a try. The difference in ease of installation was night and day. I was able to install the first plate within minutes, and in the same amount of time it took me to struggle with one Bestten cover, I installed more than half a dozen Enerlites plates. In fact, I replaced about 30 outlet plates in a single day—it was as simple as moving from one outlet to the next. Unlike the Bestten design, which requires carefully aligning multiple pins, the Enerlites plates install by simply pressing the bottom of the cover into place and then snapping the top in. The process was quick and straightforward. My only minor complaint is that the color of the plate is slightly different from the Decora outlets. However, the sleek look of these screwless plates is still a noticeable improvement overall. I do hope the easier installation doesn’t mean they detach more easily over time; if that becomes an issue, I will update this review. In the meantime, I highly recommend the Enerlites plates for any do-it-yourselfer looking to upgrade the appearance of their outlets and switches with minimal effort.

Changing out most of my outlets from the former style to decora style. PROS: These cover plates are made of durable hard plastic. The covers are packed in protective plastic. The cover plates are two pieces -- a base-plate and snap-on cover plate nested together. You simply separate the two plates, unscrew and remove your old outlet cover and snap on the screwless cover plate. Note that the outlet (receptacle) needs to be decora style. I like these covers because they firmly snap over the included base plate and the screws are hidden. Changing out my 20 year old outlets and screwless covers look fantastic, sleek and modern. I recommend! CONS: Base plate and cover plate come snapped together. It is difficult to separate the base plate from cover plate.

This is a game changer!! The old style plates with the visible screws are awful and replacing them with screwless plates completely changes the look. The price on Amazon vs buying at Home Depot or Lowes is crazy good. I have used these to replace any plates with screws. Everyone should do this!

The local Lowes store quit carrying the Cooper wiring products version of the screwless decora style wall plates, which I had recently replaced a few receptacles. I really liked the look and so started to replace all of the switches and receptacles and their cover plates to this screwless design. I found these that from the looks of them, were identical. And the price was comparable. Once I received them, there are a couple of differences which I don't really like. They are just fractionally smaller than the Cooper plates, and have very slightly more radiused corners. No big deal though. The biggest difference is that these have a slight "shadow line" around the perimeter where they snap into the inner part that you screw in. A little bit of a space.This shadow line is on the side perpendicular to the wall. The Cooper plates sit flush against the wall with no line separating the two pieces. Now this is picky, and probably not noticeable to anyone that walks in the room (especially if they are all consistent), but they just don't look quite as clean as the other ones. But since I can't find them locally anymore, I'll probably continue to purchase these as I renovate the rest of the house.

These ELEGRP wall plates look fantastic and really give the room a finished, modern look. The matte white finish hides fingerprints and matches perfectly with my Decora switches. Installation was quick — they snap on easily and fit snugly with no gaps. The mid-size design covers imperfections around the box, and the thermoplastic material feels strong and durable. Great value for a 5-pack!

Missing from my order, envelope was torn open. Delivery man asked if it was all there and because there was boxes as well I just assumed this box of plates was in an actual box. Still missing from my order though.

Good fit. Was disappointed some of the plates had plaster and scratches on them, obviously no quality control when re packed after being returned. Amazon offered a discount for the damaged parts.
