better than dewalts
Using these to drill holes into random granite/etc boulders in my lawn then sledgehammering those splitting spikes into it. I previously used the dewalt bits since they had a superior build to the harborfreight (lol) sds bits i had prior. Dewalts prices went up so I looked around and found this. This has a 4 point head rather than dewalts 2 point and I can safely say these actually work twice as fast as the dewalts for the same if not less cost. Seems to last longer than the dewalt too which could also be a result of the 4 head points sharing the wear rather than just 2. Either way this ended up being twice as good as dewalt sds bits and at least 10x better than harborfreights.

It will last a long time if you dont overheat it
I finally got sick of my old bits dying the second they hit rebar in the slab. This Diablo bit is a total game-changer for drilling through tough concrete. It flies through the plain concrete, and when it hits the steel, it just chews right through instead of stopping cold. After dozens of deep holes, the tip still looks sharp and shows no real wear. Stop wasting money on cheap bits and buy this one—it’s absolutely worth the professional price tag.

Great for low power drills like the Milwaukee M12 for Rock Climbing
I got these Diablo Demons for drilling and placing wedge bolts during rock climbing. I use a Milwaukee M12 drill and carry it along on ground up first ascents. Drilling on stance you want fast first, longevity second. Drilling fast saves the battery, and your sanity. I have been using ordinary Milwaukee 2 blade (spade) bits as these drill pretty fast with the wimpy M12, and I can find them for around $3.50 each. The problem with them is the holes are not very round at the start of the hole, and if you don't "wallow" the drill around you might have to use two hands to get the bolt started in the hole - two hands aren't available for that if you are holding on with one. I have been using the first Demon bit and so far have drilled about 25 3/8 by 3" holes in chossy granite. It's holding up well and it drills just as fast as the spade bits. And I don't have to wallow the start of the hole - that's one less thing to think about in stressful situations. I'm guessing I'm going to get about 40 holes per bit. I'll see about re-sharpening them later but so far the cost per hole is so low I'll just switch to a new bit. I think these are a big improvement over the spade style bits. BTW, I find the Milwaukee X4 rebar bits are good with more powerful drills but way too slow on the M12. UPDATE 10/2025: I LOVE THESE BITS! In hard granite I get about 20 fast 3/8"X3" holes, then there is a rapid and pronounced slowing in the drilling speed, time for a new bit. The bits are so cheap - 15 cents per hole, it's not worth resharpening at that cost. Total cost to place a premium SS bolt and hanger is about $6, so the bit cost per placement is in the noise. I also got a long bit - 12" - to drill deep holes for weak rock reinforcements. Sometimes you encounter a flake that you'd really like to leave on a route, but it might not be strong enough to leave as it could be pulled off, especially by the inexperienced but ultra-strong sport/gym climber types. I'll sometimes "pin" a flake with a 3/8" stainless rod and epoxy. A common scenario is a 2" thick flake followed by a 1" air gap then the main rock surface which gets a 3" deep hole. That needs a 6" deep hole in total. Breaking through the flake into the air gap is problematic with spade bits - it progresses too fast and binds. This can be very annoying. These Demon bits break thru smoothly, and my 12" bit has been awesome.

The one for when you might hit a rebar
A very good concret bit, and one that can drill through rebar. From what I can tell, a 'rebar' bit has 4 cutting edges at the tip instead of just 2 like some bits have. I have used different brands, and the Diablo are the best I have used if drilling where you may hit a rebar. I do some concrete drilling, but am far from a pro so I don't have experiences with every bit by any means, but I will spend the extra money for the Diablo for any instance where I might encounter rebar. For unreinforced concrete, they are about on par with any other quality bit, with decent life.

Best price when you buy the 25 pack.
These are absolutely the best sds 3/16 drill bits I have ever used. They are just like the Hilti bits for much less. I live in South Florida and all homes here are concrete block. One bit could last up to two weeks.

En las fotos y la descripción dicen que tiene doble hélice para extraer el polvo a mayor velocidad, lo cual no es cierto. Es una pena porque todo lo demás parece ser de muy buena calidad.
