Kiss “poodle hair” goodbye...
For most of my life, I have had fairly straight hair. In my twenties and thirties, I developed an ever so slight wave, but as soon as a brush hit my hair, the wave would be gone. In recent years, however, (I will be 45 in two days), I have encountered SEVERAL life-threatening illnesses, which either due to the illnesses, themselves, the treatments, the stress, or hormones, SOME of my hair became wavy in a manner that my hairstylist says she’s never seen, naturally. It literally grows in like what a waving iron does to your hair. But, it’s only the under section of my hair. It’s unruly, and it knots, it’s changed texture and color, and it won’t even hold hair color/dye. It’s is the ODDEST thing I’ve seen. I’ve nicknamed it my “poodle hair,” because that’s how it makes me feel, as it affected my self esteem. I was looking into a Brazilian Blowout, but my stylist said even THAT wasn’t going to work. That I was basically STUCK with it. (And flat/straightening irons do NOTHING... my hair literally laughs at them and kinks right back up in seconds!) Years ago, I had an early adaptation/creation of this brush by both Revlon and Conair, I believe. BUT, because they came in two separate parts designed to “click” together, they weren’t strong enough for my hair. My hair is VERY deceiving. It’s very fine, but I have A TON of it. And, this “poodle hair” is an entirely different beast, altogether. I’d heard about this dryer, and I’d read about it. I even watched several YouTube videos about it... and, I decided to give it a try. HALLELUJAH!!! THIS HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! For the FIRST TIME in YEARS, I can have NORMAL hair, again. It’s a miracle, and it has been SUCH a blessing. Just thinking about it makes me cry. If I sweat heavily, the “poodle hair” will creep back in, but I know that I have a way to now manage and control it. I’m SO thankful for this tool, and I have recommended it to MANY people. What’s great, too, is that once my hair is dry, it’ll stay pretty straight until the next time I wash it, unless I get really sweaty, or something (straightening didn’t do that, either). It’s a lifesaver! ALSO, finally, with a good thermal product, this hasn’t damaged my hair, and I’m able to go a few days before I have to do the process again. It takes a little longer than a standard dry, but shorter than a dryer and brush blowout, which I CANNOT do on my own. I LOVE THIS THING!!!

Like a salon blowout even with actually THICK-THICK hair
I LOVE this tool. I have actually thick hair. Not "thick" hair like most of the girls in the videos using this product (who told them their hair is thick? It's like, slightly thicker than thin, but that's not THICK). . I have the kind of thick that makes all of the hairdressers in the salon come over to comment on it ("Wow, that's a lot of hair. Is that all hers?"). The type of thick that wears out the arms of even the most seasoned of hairdressers. The type of thick that meant I could never do a cute "50s-style" pony tail for dress-up days in high school because there is NO WAY to hold that much hair up. Thicc thick. Oh and it's wavy and coarse too. Yay. Fun. Even with all of that, my hair comes out looking like I did a salon blowout with this tool. Is it as shiny as with a flat iron? No, it's not. But it looks amazing nonetheless--it is smooth with body and fullness--and it takes about a quarter the time it would to do a blow dry followed by a flatiron, which I don't often do because it's too much work. I often have to take 5-6 breaks when blowdrying/straightening because I get way too hot and my arms get fatigued. I can use this tool in one go (or 2 at the most) and have gorgeous hair in about 18-20 minutes. Caveats: 1. I do spend about an hour with my hair in a Perfect Towel and then another 30-60 minutes in a twist to let it air dry a bit before I start. I like my hair to be about 25% dry before I tackle it with any dryer, including this one. (Thick hair girl advantage: I don't have to do my hair more than 2x per week, often I can get away with 1x because it's, well, so thick). 2. The tool handle is big and it does wear out your hand a bit holding it, but since I'm only spending 18-20 minutes drying (sometimes in 2 sessions) it's doable. 3. Be sure to section your hair. I pin mine up in 8 different sections before I start, then let them down 1 by 1 as I style/dry. At any rate, if you can relate to the idea of having "actually thick hair" I think you'll love this tool as much as I do.

Just what I was looking for
So I'm not a hair dryer guy. I get out of the shower brush my hair and let it air dry. That will probably never change for me. I got this one step hair dryer volumizer brush for my mother who can no longer dry her own hair. She had a dryer in her bathroom that she used for many many years. I tried drying her hair with it and it was very uncomfortable for both of us. Decided she needed a new one so I looked around here and read some reviews and recommendations until finally landing on this Revlon one step hair dryer. Price was good decided to give it try and yes very very very happy with it. Again not experienced with hair dryers at all but I find this product very easy to use, it doesn't pull, and tangles are easy to get out, even dealt with syrup in hair and got it out with no pain. Only negative would be it's got a cord. Cordless would be a lot easier for moving around while drying someone else's hair but not a deal breaker for me. Noticed I bought this more than a few years ago and still have no issues with this at all so the durability is outstanding. 5 stars would buy again if it ever breaks down.

Love this!!
I never write reviews, unless I absolutely hate, or absolutely love something! I absolutely LOVE this!! I went to my hairdresser and she used one of these. (Not Revlon) But her using one of these took a LOT of time off of my appointment! I have very long, VERY THICK hair so it takes a long time to dry my hair! She used to use a brush and a hair dryer and it would take a really long time! So when she used a blow drying brush, I knew I needed one! I saw this on Amazon and the price was great! (I wasn’t about to buy an expensive salon one because they all work the same.) When it arrived, I tried it and this will now be the way I dry my hair! I always used to just let my hair air dry because, as I mentioned, my hair is long and super thick so I didn’t have time to blow dry. This dries my hair so fast! I just section it out, run it thru each section a few times and it’s dry! My hair is also not as frizzy after using this. I have naturally thick, coarse hair and from decades of dying and straightening/curling my hair with heat appliances, my hair is totally fried and frizzy. I always have to use a straight iron to tame the frizz. I still have to use a straightener after drying my hair with this, but I don’t have to run it thru my hair nearly as much as I used to after air drying or blow drying. I only have to run the straightener over it once or twice, and my hair looks great! So I definitely recommend this, especially for the price! Like I said, they all do the same thing so there’s no need to buy an expensive one!

Does a good job
Since hitting menopause, my hair has changed dramatically. My once beautiful, shiny, STRAIGHT hair is now frizzy, dry, and dull. I have been letting it air dry with some spray oil on for moisture and "scrunch" spray to hold onto the waves and keep it from getting frizzy. I have seen a lot of people raving about this dryer and decided to give it a try. I followed the suggestions to let my hair dry a bit first and then use the dryer for the final Blow Out. It does a nice job quickly. It gives my hair a straight and shiny look that is really pretty again. The dryer itself is a bit big to hold and maneuver. I have big hands for a woman (XL gloves) so I can maneuver it ok. If you have smaller hands I think this would be difficult. Using some sort of heat protector is a must and don't use it on the high setting or you will fry your hair. The low setting is sufficient to get the job done in a matter of minutes. It is way easier than using a hairdryer and a rounded brush to get the same results. I tried both this "older" version and a 'newer' version from Costco that has a smaller brush head. I didn't find any noticeable differences when I used each. If you have shorter hair, the smaller version would be better for you. If you have long hair like me ( to the middle of my back) this older, bigger brush-headed version is best.

Love this Brush!!
My sister had mentioned she bought the Dyson brush dryer and I know she spent a fortune on it with all the attachments and whatnot. I really wanted to try one out for myself, but was not going to spend $200-$300! So when I came across this one and after reading an article about these brushes and this one being on the list of top 10 I went ahead and bought it! The first time using it I learned the feel for how it worked and understood what I needed to do to achieve a certain look. By the second time I really loved the outcome and especially how smooth my hair felt and how straight it was! In the first time in 30 years I had completely straight hair without having to use a straightener or my sad attempt at permanently straightening my hair when I was 13(It did not go as planned even though my aunt was a hairstylist). For the price this was I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome and also do not feel that I am damaging my hair as badly as I would if I used a straightener. Also what I think ultimately helps keep my hair so soft and smooth is using a heat protection cream or gel before using any heating equipment!! Love love love it!! Thanks for such a great product!! And a great price!!

Not working!!
1.The product says not to use step down converter. The seller says to use one. 2. If I use converter, the product stops working after 4min. If I don't use converter, in less than a minute, burning smell comes and smoke started coming. I have paid much for the product and the converter . Really upset 😭

Prático
Agradeço o profissionalismo do vendedor que decretou o problema e ainda conseguiu entregar antes do prazo. Obrigada. O produto veio bem embalado e na embalagem original. O produto está funcionando perfeitamente. Adorei o produto. Achei prático, leve e como consigo fazer a escova sozinha, estou usando bastante. O produto após a secagem deixa o cabelo com um brilho muito bonito. Recomendo o produto.
