Excellent protection
XL is plenty big 5'5", 115lb, but I'm not complaining about size of the suit. I probably could have gotten a large or maybe medium, but with the extra fabric I never worry about a bee or wasp stinging or biting thru fabric in contact with my skin anywhere. I have dispatched or moved 4 large aggressive nests in the last 2 years. I wouldn't have gone near them without this suit. The zippers and cloth tabs cover all openings well. The long leather and cloth gloves with elastic at the top ensure nothing gets inside. The leather is soft allowing movement and respectable dexterity but thick enough for good protection. I wear the suit with knee high rubber boots ensuring no gaps at my ankles with the elastic leg openings. I also wear a baseball cap for added head protection. I've used a headlamp inside the hood so I can see during my pre-dawn adventures. It is a good weight added over my regular clothes. I recommend this suit.

Exceptional Price, Quality, Fit and Protection - The Choice Of Professionals
After paying my pest control company over $200 to spend 10 minutes at my house to eliminate a hornet's nest I knew it was time to start doing these projects myself. After researching online for the "best" bee suits out there the LONGADS name was the predominate choice of of all the professionals. I received my suit today and am very impressed with everything about it. The quality of the fabric, the fit of the suit from top to bottom, the soft pigskin gloves, and the breathability of the entire suit was impressive. It covers me from head to foot with tight elastic fittings around the arms and legs to prevent bees from getting inside. The fabric is a nice, tight weave that provides excellent opacity preventing bee stingers from penetrating the suit. The helmet attaches securely to the suit by zippers with velcro tabs to keep it tightly in place when in use. Excellent visibility through the helmet protective screen visibility mesh. When you are dealing with angry bees (especially hornets!) you want a bee suit you can rely on - look no further than LONGADS!

No stings, but kinda warm
I felt I should drop a quick review of this for those of you looking to tackle a project requiring the use of this kinda thing. I've been lit up by hornets in the past, so when I heard a friend of mine had a rather large nest on the side of her house, the memory flashes of the pain from previous encounters came right to the front of my mind. So I decided to invest a bit in getting a bee suit. The suit is three pieces, the main body and hood, and a pair of gloves. This does not have "footies", which is ok. A good pair of boots make up for this. The gloves are very nice actually, supple enough to turn a small shop vac on and off, thick and durable enough where they to the job. They come up to about the elbow, a bit of extra wide duct tape and all set. There are two rather large pockets on the chest, I just used them to put my phone in if things went sideways (they did not). I do kinda wished the zipper handles were a bit larger so you could grab them with the gloves on, but if they were any larger, it might have left a gap. Now, this next part is a bit of an environmental issue. So, I'm in the South, when I was wearing this, I think it was 80 something degrees (F), and high humidity. I was wearing regular jeans and a shirt under this, and in the almost hour I had it on, I had nearly sweat through my clothes. So not something I'd want to wear for a prolonged period with temps and humidity where they are here. But if you're accustomed to some sweat and know how to handle it, you'll be fine. Bottom line... Great for about an hour at a time during the summer, plus.... At least against bald faced hornets, they didn't stand a chance. Absolutely zero stings!!! So, in the words of many a drill sergeant, drink water and get to work. I would 100% recommend this to someone tackling removing a nest on their own.

Good quality
Quick delivery. All items included as stated. Sizes are not true though. Size chart said XL for 5’7-5’11, so that’s what I got. I’m swimming in it. I look like I’m in a sump wrestler costume. Quality of material seems good and I didn’t get stung.

Impressive Bee Suit - A Must-Have for Fearless Warriors
I recently had a remarkable encounter with a relentless yellow jacket nest that led me to test the boundaries of my bee suit. Armed with determination and my trusty 2x4, I embarked on a mission to remove a massive hive from my property. Amidst the chaos, the bee suit I donned proved to be a game-changer, offering unparalleled protection and ensuring my safety throughout the endeavor. I was removing a massive hive for 30 minutes without a single bite. Durability and Protection: 5/5 From the moment I zipped up the bee suit, I was impressed by its robust construction. The suit held up exceptionally well as I maneuvered around the hive, even with a 2x4 in hand I used to scrape the hive off the bottom of my deck. Notably, not a single bee managed to penetrate the suit's defenses, despite my proximity to their hive and the forceful expulsion of parts of the nest. Hood Design and Accessories: 4.5/5 Wearing a baseball cap under the hood, as suggested by fellow bee warriors, provided an extra layer of protection for my head and face. The hood effectively shielded me from potential stings, although an adjustable tightening mechanism would be a useful addition for a more customized fit. Comfort and Layering: 4/5 Layering proved to be a strategic choice. The thick Carhartt jacket, combined with work jeans, enhanced insulation without compromising mobility. The extra layers, along with duct tape sealing on gloves and ankles, contributed significantly to the suit's effectiveness in keeping the hornets at bay. However, an additional inner lining for added comfort during prolonged use would be appreciated. Ease of Use: 4/5 The bee suit was relatively easy to put on and take off, even under the circumstances of a bee removal operation. The zipper mechanism held up well, and the suit's sizing proved accurate for a comfortable fit over my clothing. In conclusion, the bee suit I used during my yellow jacket nest removal proved itself as a stalwart defender against nature's fierce inhabitants. Its durability, effective hood design, and compatibility with additional layers of clothing are commendable features. While some minor enhancements could elevate its comfort level, the bee suit exceeded my expectations in delivering the protection and peace of mind needed for such daring undertakings.

Great suit, should not have sized up!
I just received this item, so I have not actually used it. But my first impression is that it is very well made and very roomy and comfortable. I'm counting on it to keep the bee stings away. Will be trying it out this week. I did order the XXXL based on reviews to size up, but for me that was the wrong move. It was way too big. The XXL fits just fine and that's my actual size. I'm a 5'7" 260lb woman and it's perfect for me. I appreciate the reviews that say wear a hat to keep the screen off of your face. That works perfectly! Gloves fit great. I'm very impressed with the value of the suit and the cost! I can't wait to get into our bees for my first time :)

Did the job!!!
This suit is amazing!! We had a huge hornets nest under our deck and my husband tried killing it with gasoline in a sprayer, but the nest was partially covered by a deck joist and he couldn’t get to it well enough. It was going to cost a couple hundred dollars to get the exterminator to come, so I ordered this thinking I would use it since my husband is very allergic to bee stings and I didn’t want him to getting any closer than he did. The suit is made of a dense cloth and very sturdy. Heavy duty zipper, and lots of Velcro to make sure all the openings are double shut. I ordered it big so it would fit over a snow coat and pants in case a hornet tried to sting me. Like other reviewers, I wore a ball cap to hold the netting (which is strong and well made) off my face, and I put a belt on over the waist so the suit didn’t get in the way. It worked perfectly! I went out early in the AM and was able to get close enough to wet the entire nest down well and all the hornets were killed. This suit will definitely get used again since we live in the country with bees of all types. Highly recommend if you need to deal with bees of any sort.

If you are removing a bee or hornet nest you need this suit
Bee Suit worked great! If you are removing bee or hornet nest get this suit. It is well made, no loose threads, no issues with zipping or unzipping the hood. Material is good quality. Gloves are a nice leather and length is up to the elbow. My husband wears a large to XL in gloves and the bee gloves fit him well. The suit was hot but is July in Kentucky. The size ordered was XL and my husband is 5' 7" weight 178 lbs. The suit was loose allowing long sleeve and jeans to be worn but not to big.

Good quality
Found this suit and gloves to be very high quality. I’m 5’9”, and about 255 lbs, and easily fit into the XXL. No wasps came out of the nest when I sprayed at night, so I can’t attest to if it’s “sting” proof. Probably didn’t need the suit, but after getting swarmed and stung during the day it’s affordable protection and peace of mind.

makes a person fearless in the face of stinging insects!
The material feels thin and one wonders if this will work against stingers. The wasps mostly ignored me. But i did have a few briefly crawl on me. The XXl fit perfectly on my 6. 2 ft frame with a rather large belly. I have only used the suit for one wasp job and there were no issues. It took a few hours over several days to vacuum up most of the insects and then plug the hole above a dryer vent. a year later and there is zero activity. I would say the reasonable price for safety was well worth the adventure in wasp wrangling.
