Review: Good taste....but freshly roasted? - The taste of this coffee is pleasant (a bit on the milder side). Beans were not as freshly roasted as I thought they would be. While they had a pleasant coffee aroma, the beans themselves did not have that distinctive oily composition that defines a freshly roasted batch. There was only a slight oily sheen. I prefer the Kilambe coffee brand since you can definitely tell that they are freshly roasted just before shipping.

Really good coffee at a good price!
I have really enjoyed this coffee. It is not sour like many freshly roasted coffees that trying to avoid too dark of a roast.

Good taste....but freshly roasted?
