It feels great and smells good too
I’ll be totally honest sometimes I am extremely lazy and do not have the patience to lather my face with shaving cream, so I have this product a try and I was totally blown away. I love that a slight drip of water, how much soap you’ll get afterwards. I love the smell and the way it feels and helps with my shaving. I will definitely buy more once I run out of Clubman Pinaud Shaving Soap.

Better Than Tend Skin
Hubs said: I like this better than Tend Skin, which had an unpleasant scent and did not work as well to permanently reduce the inflammation of ingrown hair bumps. This product has a jelly-like consistency. It goes on smooth with a very subtle post-shave tingle due to the menthol. A little goes a long way. I prefer to apply it to my fingertips and rub it into the affected area. You could also apply it to slightly damp skin to stretch the product. If you apply it to damp skin, the product tends to, for lack of a better word, "ball up." (Imagine placing a thin layer of classic Elmer's glue onto your skin and rubbing it after it's partially dry.) Nothing to be alarmed about since it wipes off easily. The fragrance is very light. Not precisely the same scent as the classic aftershave, but masculine nonetheless. It's not my favorite scent, but YMMV. Either way, it doesn't linger for more than 30 minutes, and it doesn't interfere with my aftershave. If you have any concerns, apply it at night before bed. I've noticed that the inflammation from my ingrown hair bumps really reduced after a couple of applications. I attribute this more to the salicylic acid than the aspirin. Tend Skin's efficacy in reducing inflammation does not compare to this product. Plus, the twin pack version of this product (4 oz + 4 oz) is significantly cheaper than Tend Skin, which costs roughly $24+ for an 8 oz bottle. This is definitely money well spent.

Good first impression and lathers well.
I began wet shaving with a brush and shave soap last December. This is the third different shaving soap product I have tried. I've used it twice and so far I like it. Where other inexpensive soaps lather doesn't last throughout my shave and I have to re-lather, the Clubman Pinaud soap lather lasts throughout my shave time. As another view noted, it comes in it's own container with a screw lid closure. Unless I cut the soap out with a knife, I did not see a viable method to remove it from it's container to put into my mug. However, with a container, it makes it easier for travel. The other two brands of soap I have used thus far, lasted me approximately 6 - 7 weeks and I shave about 6 times a week. To be determined is how long the Clubman Pinaud soap will last. Update 4/24/2017, Regarding how long soap will last: I have used the Clubman Pinaud Shave Soap now a little over a month now, and it will probably last me another week or so. Overall I like it as stated in my initial review in March, it lathers well and the lather lasts throughout my shave. However, the soap will not last quite as long as the other two soap brands I have tried, Vander Hagen and Williams. I would still recommend trying Clubman Pinaud Shave Soap as it lathers very well.

It LATHERS and has MENTHOL!
Very nice product. Concentrated, so that a small, ~ 3/4" ribbon will do a 3 pass shave for me. Smells basically like the Clubman shave SOAP, one of my favorite shaving accoutrements, or the cream, if you already have either of those for comparison, but just a little different. I like the soap scent slightly better than this, but that doesn't mean I don't like this, I do! When I bought it, I missed the caffeine and MENTHOL (the latter of which might account for the slightly different scent - the soap doesn't have it) and I detected that within seconds of applying, so it's cool and refreshing. What it does NOT have are the parabens. And it's made here in the USA! : - ) Personally, I use tube creams like this, Tabac and Speick for face lathering (especially good, IMHO, for travel use w/o having to pack a bowl), and this does a wonderful job- beautiful lather. Please note - Clubman CREAM in the tub does NOT lather, this DOES. I bought a tub of the cream and was sadly disappointed that it doesn't form a lather, no matter how you try to whip it. But ran across a video that suggested using the cream as an initial layer (applied by the fingers) on the face, then using this product and, though more "work," does honestly give an incredibly smooth, slick shave, so I'm able to use the cream, after all. This has a regular place in my rotation; love the Clubman scent and the made in USA features!

Not a Shave soap puck.
Clubman Pinaud comes in shave cream, shave butter and shave soap. I thought the “shave soap” would be a puck. It’s not a puck. The screw top container is small and hard to move a normal size shaving brush into it. The smell is similar to their aftershave lotion.

THE SHAVING SOAP I KEEP COMING BACK TO
I've been wet shaving for almost 10 years now. Tried so many brands and types of shaving soaps. Don't get me wrong, a lot of other soaps are great. But, to be honest, I keep coming back to Clubman! Not only is the smell intoxicating - hey Pinaud peeps, if you're reading this, please make an aftershave that captures this scent! - It's so easy to lather, and really, really slick! I always get an incredible shave using this soap. Also, the price is unbeatable in comparison to other high-end products.

Sin olor y el tarro es enano
Una decepción el recipiente es enano, y yo prácticamente no noto ningún aroma, comparado con tabac que le noto su aroma mucho más…

Life changing soap
This is the soap for the rest of my life. Blade g life. Smells amazing. Only very rarely do I cut myself anymore. No need for a pre shave cream anymore. Next I will try their cream.

Demasiado aceitoso
Lo compré como aceite hidratante pero por lo visto es un aceite de preafeitado...en todo caso es demasiado aceitosos pra mi gusto. No me convenció, he probado mejores
