Cowdog Chews Retriever roll 9-10 inch All Natural Rawhide Product (80 Pack)

I picked up the Cowdog Chews Retriever Rolls (9–10 inch, 20 pack) and they’ve been a huge hit in our house. My dog can be pretty picky with chews, but these kept him busy right away and held his attention much longer than most rawhides we’ve tried. The size is perfect for medium to larger dogs, and I really like that they’re thick and durable—they don’t disappear in five minutes like cheaper alternatives. They seem to be well-made and consistent in size, which is a big plus when you’re buying in bulk. Another thing I appreciate is that they don’t have a strong, unpleasant odor like some rawhide products. They feel like a cleaner, more natural option, and I’ve had no issues with digestion so far (always supervised, of course). For the price and quantity, this is a great value. If you’ve got a dog that loves to chew, these are definitely worth trying. I’ll be ordering again!

Unlike most chews that are gone in minutes, this roll actually lasts. It keeps my dog engaged, satisfied, and happily chewing without splintering or falling apart right away. You can tell it’s made with quality in mind, and it holds up extremely well even for large, strong breeds. It’s also great for keeping him busy and helping with natural chewing instincts, which is a big win in our house. THese are very nice rawhide bones. We have had a horribly hot and rainy summer, my two 70 Lb. dogs are really bored because they cannot get outside to run on our 5 acres. At least they can chew on bones to help keep them busy. I always sit with them while they chew but the stick rawhide rolls are pretty safe and the dogs really enjoy them. These are nice and clean and smell fine. I am very happy with the size and the quality.

These rawhide rolls look clean, tightly wrapped, and consistent in size, with no odd odors or quality issues. They’re the classic dense style that usually lasts a while, and the construction is exactly what you’d expect from traditional rawhide. Unfortunately, my dog wasn’t very interested in them — he sniffed, sampled, and walked away, which is unusual for him but he does have pretty high standards when it comes to chews. The product itself seems fine; it just didn’t land with this particular picky chewer. A well‑made set of rawhide rolls, but your dog’s preferences will be the deciding factor.

My dog is the pickiest for treats and bones and toys/ he absolutely loves these! He became protective of it from other animals in the house. It’s big enough that he has to use his paws to get at it. It’s been a few days and he’s still chewing through the first one. I will be buying these again when he goes through all 3.

Our dogs love these and prefer these to any other brand! They last at least 2 days, so this size box lasts us a few months. Helps keep them entertained and some teeth cleaning, too!

So I use to purchase the rawhide from Costco which was much much larger. It would take my 15 lb mix breed dog almost a week to chew through the Costco rawhides. When we gave her one of these new ones vs the Costco brand she chose these, however, she can pretty much eat one of these in an evening. I think it's because the Costco rawhides were rolled tightly similar to how these look in the photo this manufacturer uses. However, the rolls I received were barely rolls 3 times each (the photo looks like 10+ layers) however, the rawhides I received were barely 3 - 4 layers. Out of the 20 in the package on 1 had more than 4 layers. Most were only 3 or 4. Disappointing when they use that image to set customer expectations. It's almost like a bait and switch. It's like ordering a 4x4 from in-and-out and you get it home and it's only a double-double. We typically give our dog a rawhide around 4 pm after a walk and before we start preparing dinner to keep her busy. The Costco rawhide would last several days if not a week. We gave her 5 of these so far and they never last more than the day we gave them to her. She pretty much devours these rawhides non-stop in several hours whereas others she will take a break after a few hours and they will last for days. I don't know if that's good or bad. She seems to like these a lot, but I'm disappointed that they don't last. I will probably shop around more next time. If these looked like the photo they use to sell it, I would probably buy them again, but it just feels wrong to advertise them one way and ship something else.
