This is avgreat piece of kit by anybody's standard. Quality build and smooth action. Easy to use and hasbfeatures you'd expect from a more expensive player. Sound quality is surprisingly good and my top of the range Sennheiser headphones didn't pick up any flat areas axross acrange of genres. Can't speak for it's longevity as I've only had it for a couple of days, but it's been hammered in that time and I'm very pleased with it.

Although I was unfortunate to initially receive a Discman with a damaged/missing laser lens - Klim Technologies were very responsive to my request for help. Special thanks to Samuele for replying to my emails and arranging for a brand new replacement to be sent very quickly after I got in touch! I am very pleased with the working replacement as outlined below:Pros: Sturdy build, attractive design, nicely packaged, excellent sound quality and easy to use. Built-inrechargeable battery seems to last well and obviously no need for AA batteries. A handy instruction booklet is included but it's already intuitive to use. Decent accessories included too: Klim brand in-earphones (but you can use any with a 3.5mm jack), an attractive pouch for the player, Klim stickers, ear bud replacements, auxiliary 3.5mm cable, USB-C to USB-B cable for charging (though you'll need a UK 3-pin adaptor for wall charging). Programmable modes and an equalizer (e.g. rock, pop etc). You can also play CD-Rs and MP3 CDs too.Cons: Very little to fault. A very small thing is that there's quite a big shift in volume between 'Vol 00' (i.e. minimum), which is barely audible, and 'Vol 01', which is much louder than the lowest setting. But a minor thing.Overall - highly recommend both the Discman and Klim Technologies for their great customer service.

I have an iPhone and have music connected to my phone..there are just sometimes I needed to use a discman for some music I’ve kept over the years.I looked for cost and value for money. There is also a quality factor that needs to be looked into.I spent a lot of time looking for something that’s covers all three.This is very good quality, good value for money, and it fits in my jacket pocket.I bought this mainly for audio books. The ones that are cheap from a charity shop. So this became the ideal item at a good pruce with a great sound quality.

Love this item, use it every night with my headphones, great sound, as an older person, I have had to keep the instruction book near me so I can re read how to use the cd player but I am now getting used to the buttons. I do need to charge it up 3 times a week but do use it for at least 240 mins at nightIt has a great sound and looks good, definitely worth the money

Compact size ,good to have parametric equaliser , plenty of level , clean sound . Display on top . Wish the operational buttons had clearer letters ,white on black would have been good for people with sight problems. No Bluetooth but good mini Jack out socket . The battery rechargeable is good function from usb socket. Altogether very good quality product .

After 26 years my previous personal CD player was on the blink.When looking around I realised that the big name manufacturers are no longer making them which was a surprise. After some hmming and ahhing I decided to go for the Klim.This was partly because of the look of it, the specs and the 5 year warranty.The CD player has non slip feet on the bottom, so it stays put on things like desks. It comes with a case to store and protect it, not a plastic bag.The battery pack is internal and I've yet to run out. It can charge while playing, via a c-cable/USB so can be plugged in pretty much anywhere.It can play MP3 discs as well as red book CDs - and also has an SD card slot for MP3. I don't play MP3, but it's a nice touch to addTechnology has definitely advanced since I bought my last one - the sound quality is a lot better and I am hearing new details in the music, which is always great.The amplifier is better and drives my Beyerdynamic DT990 (250 ohm)headphones with ease, around about 10 rather than up full for my previous player.The instruction manual could be clearer on how to access the SD card, but Klim were very responsive by email and quickly let me know.I think the CD player could be further developed and would benefit from a digital out via the C-cable so that external DAC could be used.Very happy with my purchase.

Got this to use my old school CDs. Honestly it is great for the price point. To buy a Walkman back in the day would have cost more and have half the features. I'm super happy with this, good sound, good features for a discman. As a bonus the company seem fun and novel with a little comic book strip you can send off to have yourself added to the story. Comes with a good case, headphones and a charger cable.

The KLIM Discman is very good, it means I can listen to my CD library when and where I want. No worries about data when travelling. The sound is great, I'm very happy I bought this.
