Songlong 80 GPH Submersible Pump Aquarium Fish Fountain Water Hydroponic

I have tired other pumps and been very happy, but this was less money so I thought I would give it a chance. My students are making water fountains out of clay projects. This pump is nice and small. It can fit into a small area and be easily covered and hidden. The dial on the side is easy to turn and adjust the water flow in the fountain. I tired them out and plan to order 4 more for other students.Something I didn't think about looking at, but really like is the cord. The cord is a good length and not to thick. It is not a heavy cord and does not life the pump off the surface it is attached. There are suction cups, but on the other pumps they eventually are pulled up by the weight of the cord. I do not think this will happen with this pump(this is only a hypothesis, and I will see if I need to change my review if I am wrong).

This pump is quiet and works great at about a 1 ft lift. However, I needed a pump that would give me a 2 ft lift. The advertised 0.8m lift would have been sufficient, but the pump didn't meet that spec. I wouldn't use this pump for anything over 1-1/2 ft lift. For things needing less than that, I would recommend this pump (as long as the flow rate is sufficient for your needs). My intended use for the pump is a recirculator pump for a whole house humidifier.

Great water pump, I have only had it for a week but so far so good. It runs about 8-10 hours straight per day no problems with it at all. The flow rate was a little low but for the application i am using it for is just fine. I bought two just incase one goes out.

Works well for the table top fountain I purchased it for. Pumps far more water than the 15 year old pump it replaced ever did. Does hum a bit more than I would like but the sound of the splashing covers it up for the most part. Would recommend to others for similar uses.

I bought this to replace the pump in my Whisker City Large Pet Fountain. The unit fits in the fountain, but you will need to cut the cord opening a bit, as this is a regular plug, not the split connector the original pump has. This pump pushes twice as much water, so you'll need to adjust the flow, or you'll have water on the floor. Excellent pump, much better than the one that came with the fountain!

I had originally given a bad review for my pump that stopped working after only a few days. Based on my review the company went out of their way to replace the pump for free. I am so impressed they would go out of their way to contact me and offer to make things right, I am changing my review to 5 stars. They obviously care about the customer having a good experience. The new pump is working fine by the way :-)

The pump is small, and I like that the cord is small. It works and is easy to operate. BUT it is NOT silent. I purchased this pump to replace my old pump in a tabletop fountain that was too loud. This one is just as loud. Definitely an irritating vibrating sound. Silent for 1st day, then started making noise and won't stop.

It's a good little pump! The pricing was amazing. It arrived on time and in good condition. It has 3 speeds, which is nice, and is quiet as long as it has enough water! I will definitely buy from this product from this company again.
