Worked successfully
Excellent product. Disturbed to say we caught 6 rats under kitchen counter. No more scratching had.

Works!
I have these for a few weeks- we have a eildlife cam in garden & saw little mouse & young rats robbing the peanut butter without setting it off ( purchased mouse trap and caught a few) persisted baiting with crunchy peanut butter & finally caught the target last night- I knew when the right target would investigate it would be caught- it is very sensitive & easy to set off- Mind your fingers- will recommend! and when time comes will buy again

Don't waste your money
I bought a 2 pack of these as we had rats in our garden eating bird food from the bird table. We read the instructions correctly and placed bate into the section, we used peanut butter. Chocolate spread, cheese. The setting the trap was quite easy to do just a click which was quite resistant, however we assumed it would kill the rat out right as I do not want them to suffer. Anyway we set the traps over a 3 week period, the rats got the food off of the trap without it going off, we had cameras set up to watch and we had 3 regular rats visit. Terrorising my rabbits, the traps went off but not once did they ever catch a rat. I was very disappointed in this product and would not recommend. We got poison in the end. So these plastic traps are not worth the £8.99 I paid for the 2. They were quite lightweight and looked quite good quality however the job they were bought for failed. So value for money is a no go. Save your money either buy poison in a sealed unit which is safe against other animals. Or call pest control.

Good value for money !
So easy to set up, I ordered these ones, as it had a very clear on screen step by step stage in which to set these up. I was terrified of breaking my fingers on these. But they were easy to set up & I just followed the diagrams. I like the fact that these are re-usable, so its good value for money. Unfortunately poison costs alot & you need to keep replacing it.

Not as good as first though
Well, I've waited a while before reviewing because I wanted to see the effectiveness of the product. The products are snappy. If you set it off yourself and get your fingers caught in them then it flipping hurts, so the quality of them are pretty good. But ...I loaded with cheese, pushing the cheese into the recepticle to ensure the rat had to stand on and trigger the trap to get at it. Well, I had to load it several times as the rat would ignore it but after a while when checking it to see if I need to reload it I noticed the cheese had gone. The trap had not triggered but it still took the cheese! So, after all this wait it appears that the trigger is useless.I'll reload and wait but not hopeful.

Works with little mess, need easy adaptation for really small mice
I like mice as pets, but unfortunately not as unpaying guests. Some time ago, I caught some live in a humane trap - but that's pointless as it's illegal to release them near residental areas (I took them on a freedom outing to the woods instead). So really they have to be killed :(The mice I catch are really small, about 2inches in length, so really don't weigh very much. When I initally set these traps they were easily able to eat their trace peanut butter last supper and vanish without triggering the trap. With my mechanical mindset (which undertood not to get fingers trapped when setting), I just bluetacked a pound coin just past the pivot point of the seesaw sufficiently increasing the sensitivity.Mousey caught had a cute non-stressed expression on his/her face, the bar had come down on the tummy. But no bodily damage, and nothing that would upset the squeamish. Just imagine you've seen someone prepared at the undertakers and not at the morgue (or on TV, since every second programme shown these days is of someone's grizzly death)Anyway, with mousey carried to the back of the garden and dumped over the rear wall, he/she will make a nice meal for the remaining wildlife that frequents this place (magpies, crows, foxes)These traps are sufficiently constructed for the purpose.

Bought A Pair Only One Works
I have a rat problem thought these traps looked robust, they are. However whilst one clicks into place the other does not hence cannot be set. You have to be extremely careful as the spring is very strong. Try as I may one trap will not work, looking closely at it the metal bar does not sit into the plastic groove so it just snaps shut. Disappointing but cannot return as had to set one today to catch a rat.
