How do you clean these?

You can either wash by hand or put in dishwasher. I personally use the dishwasher for everything. Just hang it over some of the items you have in the dishwasher. I do NOT use the heat to dry my dishes or covers. Hope this helps.

Will these cover a 12" glass bowl? And not break?

Yes the green ones will easily cover 12” without breaking and has enough room to cover something larger. The yellow covers my 11 1/2” bowl and has enough room to cover another 1/2” but I don’t believe it would go much larger. The pink covers about 7”.

Are these made in the USA?

My gut feeling is no, these food bowl plastic storage container toppers are not made in the USA. I no longer have the original packaging. Maybe someone else on Amazon will tell you differently.

Are these phthalates free?

You have to pay for them. The plastic they are made of is BPA free.
