Please clarify if this is the correct and optimal setting for Cricut machine: “Use the setting between iron on and light cardstock.”

I went with Amy's suggestion of Cricut setting of Premium Vinyl - Shimmer with a fairly new fine point blade and it worked great. This is pressure 153, single pass. I also reverse weeded off of the transfer tape. I did 2 lines of text each 1/2 inch tall, which is pretty small for thick vinyl. Next time I'd design a cut between the lines, and probably each word as well for easier weeding. I have no idea what "setting between iron on and light cardstock" is supposed to mean.

Can this be used in clothing?

Temporarily, yes - you can put it in clothes as a temporary sticker. Permanently, no - If you're looking to make permanent designs for t shirts and such, you need to use HTV (heat transfer vinyl)
